Total Watts

  1. Jan Zukowski Johnny Castle Dave Pruitt Tony Levin Paul Mc Cartney Willie Dixon Willie Weeks Chris Squire Billy Talbot Tim Drummond James Jamerson Bob Babett Carol Kaye Leland Sklar …plus too many more to list
  2. Love my EPI EBO. I replaced the original pickup with the Di Marzio One & the bridge with the Hipshot Supertone. GHS Precision Flats-it’s one of my best playing & sounding basses. Your mod sounds cool.
  3. Most of my basses are either all black or white with black appointments . This is right down my alley. I love Fretlesses as well. I wouldn’t change a thing. The pickguard or scratch plate looks great with the headstock. I must also give bonus kudos for the TI Jazz Flat strings. My favorite string even though rather expensive state side but worth every cent. I also like GHS tapewounds on my Fretless as well. Best tapes I’ve used.
  4. Try pricing just a replacement truss rod cover. My luthier broke the trap door on mine and I found them selling for 30-95 USD. I have been informed a Gretsch TRC will fit and are available as low as $7.00.
  5. I remember an interview with Leland years ago talking about this monster rig. He put it together for a tour he did playing bass for Canadian rocker Billy “Children Of The Sun” Thorpe. I don’t recall the total wattage but he said the thing was unbelievable.
  6. Thanks! Glad to be here, looking forward to another perspective of the bass playing world.
  7. Hi Chris I’m sure your son will enjoy his Nashville visit. There’s so many types of music here besides the obvious country we’re known for. I hope you get to make the trip as well. So many cool things to do here and the weather is mostly pleasant except for the middle of summer. Thanks for the welcome.
  8. I saw the tour at the beginning at Vanderbilt Memorial Gym Nashville Tennessee and at the end of the tour at Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Definitely 2 of my all time favorite live concerts. This is my 1st post on Bass Chat so greetings from the great state of Tennessee. I’m a longtime Talk Bass member and am searching information regarding David Eden Amplification (early years) and thought I’d take a look here.
