3. Go on Patrikmarky - you know you want to One bass in, one handbag out, sounds about right !
4. Final price drop £440. If it doesn't sell at this price I'll hang on to this great bass! Also on an on-line auction site - so if it gets a bid there I'll end the sale here. But if it sells here first I'll end the auction.
5. I too used to gig with the 4x10 and 1x15 set up. They are currently for sale on fleabay. Now using a Barefaced Big Baby II 3rd Gen and a Warwick LWA1000, rarely need to go much above half way round the volume pot! My ears and my back love this combination!
6. Our lead singer to audience: "This next one's by the late Brittney Spears" Guitarist, looking surprised: " Why? Has something terrible happened to her?" Singer, looking pointedly at watch: "No. She's just late!" Band: launches into rocking version of Toxic. All spontaneous! I love those moments

8. Another one for Colin Keefe. Sorted out my injured Lakland, and a lovely person too.
9. Still available after all - open to serious offers. I have added a few extra photos via the original link.
10. ikay has very kindly let me know that the Skyline series was first introduced in 2001. The first two digits of the serial number indicate the date of manufacture so this bass looks like a 2003 model (not 1996).
11. Thanks for the bump, Pinball. Yes, it's a great bass. In discussion with a potential new owner :-)
12. Price Drop £[s]450[/s] [s]£440 [/s]£410 http://s1295.photobu...Lakland%2055-01 Lakland Skyline 55-01 in tobacco sunburst. I think that is a tad over 10lbs. A previous owner had bounced the bass at some time in the distant past causing a tiny crack to the rear of the headstock and a crack to the preamp bay, these have been professionally repaired and refinished by luthier Colin Keefe http://www.keefeguit...co.uk/index.php Two tiny dents remains in the body near the jack plug output and is visible on close inspection, and a few really tiny marks on the neck, barely noticeable, and do not affect playing in any way - just mentioned for sake of accuracy. no buckle rash. A couple of YouTube reviews here give you a rundown on the features and examples of how the bass sounds: https://www.youtube....h?v=IsGYY0J4uUY https://www.youtube....h?v=S2_NWbuEMI0 Plays beautifully - can be tried out by prior arrangement - I live in Stapleford, Nottingham, 1 mile from M1 junction 25. I would really prefer collection, I can deliver within 15 miles locally. I will ship to UK postal addresses if necessary, at cost.
