Bought an Aguilar DB750 from Fabrocker. Quick dispatch and excellent packing. Unfortunately it didn't work when it arrived. Took it for servicing and turns out it had been dropped from a great height during shipping. Fabrocker helped me out with the repair costs which I really appreciate. He stayed in contact throughout and was very helpful. A potential disaster saved. Thankyou

I have one of these and I can vouch for the sheer quality of these units. The receiver is tiny as well and could easily be mounted on a pedal board. All my band use older UHF wireless systems and are plagued by interference and drop outs. My stageclix never misses a beat with the added bonus of never having to worry about batteries. £300 is a steal!

Review here of the Avalon with a poweramp http://www.avalondes...m/review25.html "We preferred TONE positions 1 and 3 for fingerstyle playing and position 2 for slapping. Position 4 sounded the flattest of the EQ curves, and the rolled-off bass positions 5 and 6 might be useful in especially boomy live situations, or when you need to really cut through a recording. In short, all the TONE position sounded useful given the right circumstances."

There are 6 basic tone control presets and I've not had any problems with EQ on gigs. I do run a VT bass pedal in front of it sometimes as well which would be ideal if your concerned with having some more flexible control. If your concerned check out the manual here and that will give you a solid idea of the tone shaping presets - http://www.avalondesign.com/pdfs/u5.pdf

Having recently acquired a new amp head I'm now in the situation of having this spare. It's an exceptional setup. The Avalon U5 sounds great and is considered one of the best DI's on the market. Coupled with the Drivecore you have a clean and powerful rig that really brings out the tone of your instrument. You can find details and specs here http://www.crownaudi...-drivecore.html http://www.avalondes...m/instrudi.html You'll also find some clips of the U5 here - http://basstasters.c.../Avalon_U5.html Weight wise the Crown is about 8.6 pounds and the U5 is 12 pounds. Altogether your looking at a very manageable weight of just over 20 pounds with case. This is all new equipment and is still in warranty. It all comes rack mounted in a Gator case. I will also provide a speakon cable that will allow you to run the Crown bridged mono which will give you 700w at 8ohms and 1100w at 4 ohms. Trust me it's plenty loud. I've put a fair bit of money into putting this together along with the cost of the rack ears, case and specialist speakons. Therefore i'd be looking to sell for £550 couriered UK PM with any questions.
