    Really on the fence about this bass. Out of interest, are active pickups with a passive EQ a commen thing? Not too keen on neck binding.

    Honestly one of the best basses ever made at a fantastic price! I would snap it up but I couldn't settle with the 7.5 neck radius.

    Did you buy the green Tobias on here? I'm pretty sure I used to own that bass many years ago! Always regretted selling it.

    It's purely cosmetic as I hate the oversized sterling bridges. I prefer the slimmer looking stingray bridge 👍

    There bridges look excellent but very expensive, I have also read they are never in stock. Going by the website that looks about right 😔

    It's a sterling ray2 bass, 4 string. Shame, musicman don't sell direct replacements

    Mines just arrived today, same deal from thomann for the sunburst finish. Just requires a set up, but all good. I plan to strip out the pickups and EQ and replace with EMG

    Apologies in advance for the stupid question, but can you completely remove a Sadowsky metro express EQ and pickups and replace with an active EMG P/J set as sold in most stores? I'm assuming this is completely possible but not commonly done?

    Yes a BB3000 reissue would be the thing of dreams but I don't think that will be on the cards 😔 It will be interesting to see what Yamaha has planned for 2025

    Wonder if the red finish is the same as the Peter Hook model? Looks like it! Would have been nice to see a few other colour options

    Very interesting! Where did you hear this? I for one would like to see the return of the bigger body BB basses 🔥 I'm currently on the lookout for a BB424x or 1204x 👍

    Any idea the rough cost to have an unfinished bass body finished in sunburst? Cheaper the better 👍
