  1. Agreed regarding the colour scheme, although maybe the nitro finished Highway one series probably comes close with a few years of playing to create a nice pattina.
  2. Also have the KiOgon kit too, still not got around to fitting it yet. I dunno maybe you got one with hot pickups but mine are a bit on the low side I'm terms of output.
  3. Cheers Stew, did you make any height adjustments to the pickups?
  4. Do you still have the stock pickups in there Stewblack
  5. Yea I watched this... Pretty poor that their own pickguards dont fit their own basses, unless this was designed to fit a fender.
  6. Thanks Paul, I will have a search on eBay and see if I can locate him.
  7. This is a disappointment 😪 I suppose, I could always buy some material and trace around my existing pickguard.
  8. Hi All, I'M thinking of swapping out the stock pick-guard on my HB PB-20 SBK, thinking an anodised gold one would look great! Does anyone know which brands will fit? Cheers
  9. I always see this things too late, lol
  10. This is a great bass for a beginner or intermediate player.
  11. My first bass, still my main bass. Brilliant for the money, ver comfortable to play. Mine is the mist green version. P.s I love those knobs where did u get them?
  12. You're right Brexit has wrecked the pan European second hand sales market... As well as multitude of other things. It's a lovely bit of kit too 🙏

That's really cool! Goin SMD & 4 layers allows you to really reduce the footprint of the board I. I should start having a go at this sort of thing. Just need to allot some time towards the learning curve and start on maybe simple boost/buffer circuit. If you have any suggestions for circuits to get me started id really appreciate that.

Nice choice of default colour by OSHpark! It's something I want to get into but struggling to find the time with competing priorities at the moment. I noticed you have cone surface mount too, I guess OSHpark do surface mount production too?

Nice work man, Excellent and I love the cool purple PCB. Did you design the circuit too?
  16. Nice work! Fairplay to you for having a go and solving this issue yourself, It's deffo worth getting a couple of tools going forward, string height gauge and a set of feeler gauges are super useful like this you can measure and even write down you preferred settings so you can replicate the setup in the future. 👍
  17. Had the same issue on my own bass recently... also a beginner here. Not enough relief in the neck and strings a bit too low. if you wish do do yourself you will need some tools. As the guys said you would benefit from a setup, depending where you are one of the members he may help you otherwise find local shop to do a set up, cost wise should be around 30 quid, assuming you don't require a set of strings. Get it done asap, leaving it like this makes it awful to play and will only leave you feeling frustrated and demotivated.
  18. Nice, where did you order them from?

Qudos to you Dissa, absolutely fantastic job, very professional 👌 Did you draw the schematic in Eagle and the let eagle automatically decide the layout?

It's super impressive! I'm guessing the slots for the sliders were milled, not sure if there is a DIY solution to this.

Awesome man! Thank you. Awesome execution 👌 I think you could easily sell this PCB to people on here. I would buy one for sure. I've never done much PCB layout but have KiCad, not tried Eagle. Are you an Electronic Engineer?

Would you mind sharing the schematic? Where did you get the PCB produced? You have me all motivated.
