Resurrection is not unusual here
yes granted . 🙂 It was more of a memo to myself, as I and others have contributed to old threads in the past and they soon died off again . That's why I deleted my previous post here . Apologies to all offended . I will probably checkout the recommendation should I get the enthusiasm to do so 🙂

Try take a listen to their "Bloody Kisses" album, without doubt their easiest accessible album, even with a couple of big hits on it.
Also metal is much a broader genre than speed, power and trash metal.
Type O Negative in definitely in general puts the heavy in the metal.
Also this is rock, not Celine Dion or Pavarotti.
Thanks for the suggestion .
I do know rock BTW 🙂 . I have and have had stuff from cannibal corpse to Celtic frost etc .I may checkout your recommendation though at some stage . Having said that , Pavarotti was cool and I have watched the three tenors on tv 👍 🙂

Coffee ☕️table back in spare bedroom . It was bugging me this morning 🐞
I'd say that the only real way to have the setup that woukd work in the living room , woukd be for me to have a moog sound studio which would fit on the display unit. only one mains adapter which is a plus . . A new Mac mini would be possible as mentioned earlier..
However , I already have the grandmother and dfam so that would be pointless .
still , it was worth a try . -

A while back I went to collect a gumtree purchase, and the seller had hooked up a mac mini to a mahoosive flat screen tv in the front room along with a set of big KRKs and audio I/F - he seemed pretty happy with the setup. I would expect that the crunch point is likely to be tasks that require using the keyboard/mouse with any intensity - can you do a dry run first tucking your imac behind those nesting tables, and running a hdmi cable out to the tv to give you a flavour of what the ergonomics are likely to be in the long term?
Good points ,and thanks for them .
Thread deleted as I need to stop procrastinating 🙂

I spent decades biting my nails from teens on. Never really low, but just instead of cutting them. It only stopped when I got older and my teeth wore down in a way that my incisors were no longer sharp enough.
It's not just me then 🙂. Something to focus on next year ..

I keep biting my fingernails to the bare minimum . A bad habit that I'll have to stop in the new year 😬

Dings / dents / at back of the neck would probably affect resale value imho . That's assuming you may want to sell in the future . You never know . On a slight tangent , I've seen a few reviews of Ibanez basses with similar necks ( the headless basses in particular) where reviewers such as Low End Lobster 🦞 weren't overly impressed with Ibanez quality control . Apparently , they're mainly manufactured in the Cort factory among other brands but iI stand to be corrected .
i think you did the right thing returning it due to description , but the bigger discount seems to be evident now due to ' imperfections'.
The fingerboard you could possibly live with, but the neck issue would be nagging away at you over time .

Helloween = iron maiden

Mmm... this could run and run .
Queensryche = iron maiden / Judas Priest . Airforce = Ac/DC .

Sorry to hear of your situation . Nice bass .
I assume you've thought of many various possible ways of pain relief etc.Have you tried acupuncture ? Also , I notice that you have ( or had ) various bits of synth equipment .
Maybe you could keep this bass for minimal home use , and use synths more ? Just a thought
Anyway, Glwts

Anyway , regarding potential tragedy regarding my back ; I went to a gig at the Brixton Academy back in the '90s with a work associate . He decided he wanted to go to Tower Records in Piccadilly . Fair enough. We had a skinful .
On going down some concrete steps on the way out , I slipped ! I didn't fall forward , as I was trying to not to look too inebriated , 🤦🤦so my back hit a few steps . Yes, I was in agony, and it was in the solar plexus area . I was very lucky . I struggled into work next day .Having to move around like John Wayne for a few days was painful and problematic obviously . As I say, I was lucky .
Those of you who have bad backs have my sympathies.

A noisy reformer? Did you plug it into a Trace combo or something? 😉
No! It was the castors trying to contain the excessive weight I put on . The sound of tortured mice was off-putting 😬
