1. I suppose if you're not in a band, you have time to learn solos, flashy stuff etc.
That said,it's still a challenge.
I think you like metal as do I . Apart from the usual names,
You could try some Jason Newstead,Michael Anthony Geezer Butler etc. Randy Coven.
Don't try Nikki Sixx techniques tho' or you could o d a lot :)

2. Awesome sound, fits into boot of car . Only selling for portability purpose.(I don't drive, and went head/cab route)
There is hum at low volume ,but when playing in band situation(rehearsal or gigging) it isn't a problem.

I'm happy with most of my collection ,but for some reason I fancy something
loud... like a Dean cabbie bass.....Or the Squire telecaster reissue. Maybe even a Dean Zone bass in
the loud green colour. :)

Cash wise? If there's no interest here,I'll probably go to flea bay with a starting price of £250.00 approx.

Pickup only please. I'm based inTwickenham. I currently rehearse with band in acton,so could demo if you like.

Any queries please pm me

Cheers

3.
I haven't bought it yet.

I have one Curbow which I love and there's no way I'd change it or sell it. My thinking was whether to get another and try to shape its sound into something that fits better with what I want Bass No. 3 to do.
Oh yeah, you did say earlier : :D Now I understand. If I was buying another one ,I think that I would sill leave it as is tho' :)

4. Gator hard case : Have only used this a couple of times in the guitarists car
in my previous band. Been in loft since ,gathering dust.
It has keys ,silica gel ,cerificate dating march2006 and smells lovely.
Excellent condition, a couple of scratch/paint marks on bottom otherwise mint. £25.00 collection.
**COULD MEET IN CENTRAL LONDON**

SKB RACK CASE: fits head amp etc. used but tough, durable and does the job. Have rack bag so don't need this.£15.00

Guitar holders to display your beloved. I bought too many for my flat ,so have 5 left.
Each one contains 3 screws and 3 rawplugs except for one.

**NOW SOLD**

Eden -NC250 Bass Combo:I know that this is possibly the wrong section ,but if tou get gas attack... :)
Awesome sound ,fits into boot of car. Only reason I'm offloading is purely for portability
purposes(I don't drive ,and went the Head/Cab route)
There is hum at low volume, but when cranked up this isn't a problem and I have gigged with it.

If no interest here ,then I will go to flea bay with a starting price of £250.00

5. I think JB is a little misunderstood at times(like most of us ) :D
When I used to look at some of his columns in the Bass Player mag years ago,
I get the impression he was being very realistic ,no nonsense kinda guy.

He used to diss ''gimmicky '' things like those spring finger strengthening excercisers.
He is also very critical of the ''bass tricks'' and just emphasises the fact
that dedication and practice is where it's all at.

I think that he doesn't say anything different than say Billy Sheehan or many other great players.

 I agree tho' with what most of you have said :) Fun is where it's at,whether you play 3 notes or 1000 a minute etc.
