1. Hi - put the spare neck up for sale separately (here). Would be happy with £650 for bass & neck including postage, but not keen on selling the bass on it's own if the neck doesn't sell first. Cheers, B.
2. Hi - I have my medium scale Maruszczyk Jake up for sale in the classifieds (here), but I thought I'd put the neck up separately to see if there's any interest. The neck was commissioned when I ordered my Jake & is really nice, but once the bass arrived I realised I preferred a maple fingerboard so I ordered another one. The specs I ordered it with were: - 32" scale Maple with Rosewood fingerboard 10” radius 2.64/1.20mm fretwire (medium jumbo) 40mm nut width White 3mm dots in front Matte finish Mr. Tee (Telecaster style) headstock 'Slim C' profile (21mm at first fret, 24mm at twelfth feet). The neck is fitted with Hipshot USA Ultralite tuners & I'll throw them in with the neck. The neck hasn't been any bother & is really great condition, but I've just had it sitting around & it will make a really nice neck for a project. The heel isn't likely to be a direct replacement for a Fender (it is contoured on the Maruszczyk so drilled differently), but isn't too far off at 62mm width. Reluctant sale, but something's come up & I really need to sell something before buying something! I'm looking for around £100 posted, which is a lot less than a new Maruszczyk neck costs! If you're in the North East then we may be able to sort out a face-to-face deal. Phone pics: - Give me a shout if you want any higher-res ones. A picture of the bass with this neck fitted is on the bass sale thread. Cheers, B.
3. Priced up next day fully insured UPS / Interparcel shipping & as I'd have to send it as two parcels with the spare neck it came in over £48, which was a bit of a shock! Happy to split this though & do postage deal for an extra £25...
4.
Have a bump on me - this is a cut-price entry ticket to the wonderful world of Marra ownership (or multiple ownership even!!)
Thanks Mike! PMs replied to...
5. Hi - the Hipshot isn't a bad bridge, but didn't feel right to me. I had a Gotoh lying around unused so I fitted it & it made the bass feel a lot more solid. I'd say it gave it a bit more presence too, but it's a very subjective thing...
6. Hi all - what a great thread & at least two of the basses on here used to be mine! Shameless plug, but put my 32" scale Maruszczyk Jake up for sale here (with a spare neck thrown in too!). Thanks, B.
7. Hi All - shameless plug, but put my Jake up for sale here with a spare neck thrown in too! Thanks, B.
8. Price drop - see below! Hi All - I'm reluctantly putting my beautiful Maruszczyk Jake back up for sale. There's loads on the forum about how great these basses are & this one's no exception. It's a one off medium (32") scale build with a chambered body, a Jazz-style neck & weighs approx. 3kg (6.6lb) - the lightest Precision I've ever seen! The spec is: - Jake 4p - Chambered, 32" medium scale Body Wood - Alder with lightly flamed maple top and back Neck - Maple with Maple fingerboard, 7.5" radius, 2.64/1.20mm fretwire (medium jumbo), 38mm nut width. White 3mm dots in front, matte finish, Mr. Tee (Telecaster style) headstock, 'C' profile (22mm at first fret, 25mm at twelfth feet) Pickups - Haussel P with passive volume & tone Hardware - Hipshot Ultralite Tuners Colour - Redburst (red with black border) gloss (It was originally built with a different neck with a rosewood board, but I commissioned Adrian to build this maple one that was fitted by Maruszczyk back in Poland - spare neck is sold now). I've also fitted a Gotoh 201 bridge instead of the Hipshot Vintage bridge it was built with & I much prefer the current bridge (you can have the Hipshot bridge if you like, but I wasn't a fan). Home use only, so really good condition - only a few light wear marks. Pics: - Ideally I'm looking for a cash / collection deal with the Maruszczyk gig bag for £500 (I'd do it for £450 collected without the gig bag for a quick sale - it fits standard Fender cases in my experience). If you're interested in a postal deal, I'd give me a shout & I'm sure we could work something out... Cheers, B. P.S. Original sale thread is here

Rumple

Sold Dave a Jazz & it was a really smooth transaction - great comms & no problems at all - definitely someone to recommend. Enjoy your new bass! Cheers, B.
10. On hold - that was quick!
11. Hi - reluctantly selling my Japanese Fender Medium Scale Jazz (JB62M). I imported this myself from Ishibashi in Japan & was a now discontinued non-export model, so a bit of a rare bass over here. Basically, it is a '62-style Jazz Bass, but slightly scaled down in proportion to the smaller scale length, which is a bit like playing one fret up. Since discovering the 32" scale I've pretty much given up on full scale now, as it's so much more comfier & lighter (this was weighed by Ishibashi as a very comfortable 3.9Kg, or 8.6lb). Condition is really good - I was told it is from 2012 & only has a bit of light play wear, which was there when I bought it. It plays really nicely & can't fault it - only selling it as I'm not playing as much as I'd like since the kids came along & it deserves to be played. I'm based in Newcastle upon Tyne & would like £500 collected for it. Postage could be an option - send me a PM & I'll see what I can do... Cheers, B. 12. Thanks for all the interest, but I've decided to withdraw this & hang on to it for now...
13. Bump - open to offers for a cash / collection deal...
14. The standard neck profile is a slim 'modern C' (Adrian's words) - 21mm at 1st fret & 24mm at 12th. Nut is 40mm as standard (a bit wider than a Jazz, but less than a Precision). Radius is 14" as standard. All this is configurable, but not miles off an Ibanez if you bring the nut in to 38mm. You'll only get something chunky if you ask for it!
15. The medium scale Jake I'm selling is chambered & sounds great. The only difference I've noticed is it's a lot more toppy than solid basses I have even with flats, but that's not a bad thing at all...
16. Thanks for the interest - sold it locally. Cheers B.

21. PMs replied to - I could do this for £550 posted. Cheers, B.
