Hi - reluctantly selling my Japanese Fender Medium Scale Jazz (JB62M). I imported this myself from Ishibashi in Japan & was a now discontinued non-export model, so a bit of a rare bass over here. Basically, it is a '62-style Jazz Bass, but slightly scaled down in proportion to the smaller scale length, which is a bit like playing one fret up. Since discovering the 32" scale I've pretty much given up on full scale now, as it's so much more comfier & lighter (this was weighed by Ishibashi as a very comfortable 3.9Kg, or 8.6lb). Condition is really good - I was told it is from 2012 & only has a bit of light play wear, which was there when I bought it.
It plays really nicely & can't fault it - only selling it as I'm not playing as much as I'd like since the kids came along & it deserves to be played.
I'm based in Newcastle upon Tyne & would like £500 collected for it. Postage could be an option - send me a PM & I'll see what I can do...
Cheers,
B.
