Ferenc is a top guy!
Sold me his 78' jazz all the way from Hungary. Excellent comms and just nice guy to deal with. Don't let the distance put you off.

Hi! I've got an old custom nt thumb that I believe was built for a namm show, its gun metal grey, its got side fret lights and sounds very growlly and thumby!
I would certainly look at your EQ, and if possible, for more percieved low end, stick your amp in a corner where possible. Remember the mids are where the money is;)
Probs upto £!000. Possibly 1500 depending on case/pickups bow etc but preferably the cheaper end. Does not need to be pristine as it will be a gigging bass, but I do want to play arco and pizz.
I hope i'm not breaking any forum rules, but i thought it better to post here than the wanted section!
I simply cannot be without my own upright any longer, but also have a budget
Anyone selling in't Yorkshire(ish)?
PM any suggestions, cheers guys!
Particular attention was paid to the setup. It was most certainly plugged into the speakon out labelled BR/L
The cab was set to bi-amp with the amp tweeter engaged with the the right side output up full, and the left hand out put down, (along with all other eq/gain controls).
The other day i plugged in my 2001rb in bridged mode into my new gk412neo and the head blinked on and off a couple of times, and then the magic smoke came out the back (Blown thermistor). The speakon is good and the setup of the amp was totally correct, I have since used the cab with an SVT and all is well.
Has anyone had any experience of this happening or could point me into the right direction as to why this happened?
Cheers guys!
