  1. presoulnation had delano's in his Sandberg, could ask him ?
  2. I have to agree with Stingrayfan, the Warwick gear is pretty good. Though it is seen on most stages with metal or soul/funk bands with a bit of time tweaking your sound its definitely got value for money. Pick up a 4x10 WCA411 4ohm cab which can handle 600w and add a Profet 3.2 or if you can find a secondhand Profet4 you'll have a setup that would cut through the mix of drums and 2 marshall combos with ease.
  3. Amazing Beedster! I'm surprised he did'nt give you a reply full of abuse. Glad he realised his "mistake"
  4. Metallica - Cliff Burton, Jason Newsted RHCP - Flea RATM - Tim Commerford The Beatles - Paul McCartney Muse - Chris Wolstenhome Thursday - Tim Payne Queen - John Deacon i could go on and on!

    Sans amp

I love my programmable sansamp! even though i hav'nt used it in a "LIVE" setting yet, even at low volume at home it sounds beautiful.
  10. Try PMT in Birmingham! they had a good range when i was last in there.
  11. Some seriously dirty ones!! old used strings i think it was Bernard Edwards from Chic that never changed the strings on his Musicman and he got that deep deep sound with no top end at all.
  12. I hav'nt tried 2mm hex key, but i think i've figured it out! The bass was purchased in second hand condition and to be honest i don't think the previous owner gave much care towards it as there are quite a few scratches over the body/neck which you'd probably expect from a well gigged bass? But from the description i was given from the seller it was only ever bought out for special gigs! so i believe a few little porky's were told to me. Anyway i think that they tried to adjust the saddles with the wrong tool and ruined the hex slots on the grub screws, which isn't a massive headache as i can buy some replacements but the fact that i was deceived in the description has pissed me off. So in future when buying a used bass i will try and try before buying!! lesson learned.
  13. I am at my wits end with my SUB, according to the ernie ball website i'm supposed to use a 1/16 allen wrench to adjust the saddles on the bridge which i've tried. But for some reason its too small? I've tried the next size up and thats too big! So do they have the wrench size wrong? Has any of the other SUB owners(current and former) out there had any problems like this? Help appreciated! Thanks
  14. Well i've arrived! a big hello to all again. Hopefully this one stays for a little longer than basstalk?
