That’s handy to know dov, I’ve changed many over the years and I don’t think I’ve ever bought one that I didn’t have to alter a touch
I sent him originals Tony, just to be on the safer side.

Cheers to @kodiakblair for the heads up after looking for some guards to be made, Brian Pilanz is your man sent him the originals to copy and turn around was roughly 6 days for the 4 guards in the picture. Top row is for a 70's Jazz without thumb rest/pup guard holes, btm left for a Jazz Pro & btm right Sandberg 48. Well happy with them and way cheaper than WD 👍

Bad ::: PMT bought a Pro Jazz back in August the first one they sent was clearly a demo model, scratches on body and a ding so returned. Second Jazz turns up, a bit later than there 2 - 3 day turnaround...bass is fine checked serial number on authenticity certificate to serial number on bass..don't match, i've got a white Jazz and certificate is for a black Jazz. Last phone call from them 3 weeks ago saying they would get correct certificate for my Jazz but so far nothing, i know everythings kinda sluggish with the covid but for all it takes to send an update on whats happening can't be hard. Utter rubbish service worst i've ever came accross
Good ::: Forth Music in Kirkcaldy, Deek runs the wee shop with his mate. Had a few preamps fitted, setups and a good blether always happy to help out.

Ach ffs, well happy i managed to organise a delivery to Belgium but forgot the 10% code...easy enough all the same 👍

Maybe a daft question but my 48's got metal covered pickups sealed in epoxy or some kinda resin. Worse case scenario and the pickup calls it a day where would i get a new one or a repair ? Would it have to be Sandberg themselves for a replacement

Well, SOLD to a very talented Belgian bassist...made my day when all was revealed 😃...Elie Kh

Bass weighs in @ just over 8 1/2 pounds according to kitchen scales. Now as has been pointed out this bass only recently became available in the UK thru Bass Direct & is an LX model where i had it as an LT....sorry for any confusion and cheers to @Eldon Tyrell for pointing that out...cheers
