hey i am looking into buying a delay pedal, i dont want anything too fancy, just a simple analog style pedal. I have been interested in the ibanez ad9 and was wondering if any of u guys have had any experience with them, or if you could recommend anything else. Price range i am willing to spend is under 100 squid. Cheers Nick
4. cheers guys, i tried it out today at band prac, and i kind love it! cheap basses ideal!
5. hey, i decided to 'pimp' up my first ever bass, it was a vintage musicman style bass, it looked a bit like this: after a few days of sanding a getting rid of the paint i found it had a quite nice wood grain on it. I decided to just give the body a wood stain and install a new pickup, so after a few days work here is the finished product: plays and sounds very nice for a cheep bass, i am just waiting for band practice to try it out properly. l8ers, Nick
6. hey i have a warwick x-treme head and i have just looked at the manual on their website as i rememberd reading it that the warwick amps have protective circuits incase of bad power conditions. here have a gander at the manual it will explain it better than i can, go down to page 7/8 http://warwick.de/media/manuals/ProFet/WW_PROFET_EN.pdf C ya, Nick
7. hey, i have the colorsound tonebender fuzz, it has 3 controls for 'fuzz' 'volume' and 'bass/treble'. got mine off the old 'ebay, secondhand. though you can get them new from http://www.macaris.co.uk/index.asp. i think justin chancellor from tool uses one. 10. rocktron, dc on tap is a very good single psu that can power up to 20 pedals, and has a variety of cables for different types of pedals
11. i have bad experiences with the bass center aswell, i ordered a 2u rack case, but they didnt send me any notification that they didnt have any in stock, so i waited, then phoned up and the guy just said that their internet guy wasn't there. so 2 days later i phoned back again and he said he would phone me back...but didnt!! so another phone called and i actually got an answer, 'a delivery has just arrived and yours should be posted as soon as possible'. so hopefully it will come soon, fingers crossed!
12. um, i dont think so, it is really heavy, though it does have wheels and a large grab handle at the top and sides, it needs two people to lift it into my van. i wouldn't recommend it for someone who wants lightweight, but the sound is very nice, puncy and mid. Nick
