3. I'd love a Sandberg California.
4. I've got a VMJ and it's one of the best basses I've ever had. Solid instruments.
5. In terms of slap, I think Marcus Miller's tone on his Higher Ground cover is incredible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCv03LRS-Hg This guy's punchy tone is pretty nice for Rock: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hm-68FebQTs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9GTct-oQTI I'm playing through an Ashdown EB 15-180, with a Squier VM Jazz.
6. I know 'the perfect tone' is personal, but I listen to some people play, and I think, "Bugger me, I'd love to have that tone." I've never known how to EQ my amp to achieve the sound I want. I've heard taking out the mids, and having the bass and highs right up is called a 'smiley' or something, and is supposed to be a great tone for jazz? How do you lot go about finding what feels good? Dan
7. Teaching my brother how to play, and I want him to learn songs that actually get his fingers moving, as opposed to just playing root notes. Can anyone think of anything fun to play, that would fit in with this? Cheers.
8. Bought a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz from Freddie recently. Received it quickly, in great condition, and extremely well wrapped. Thanks for a quick and hassle-free transaction. Dan
9. Dan's feedback goes here.
10. Went with the Electric Blue, but when I got it today, realised I don't have a spare kettle lead. Will any old one do, or?
11. Could this be sent via courier at all, or is it only available for collections? Cheers
12. Would you be able to see how much it would be delivered? Cheers
13. It would only be for home use/jamming around a mate's for now, so I wouldn't be gigging with it.
14. Recently started playing again after about a 2/3 year break. I've never had a 'real' amp, just a small 15w practice one. I'm looking for something pretty compact, as I don't have a lot of spare room, but something that's going to be able to give me a nice tone, and make me enjoy playing bass. Would I be better off going for a combo or a head and cab? Any recommendations at all? EDIT: Budget would probably be around £200ish. Cheers, Dan

16. The sound's from the amp, yeah. I'm definitely not up to soldering anything. I don't really want to poke around inside too much as I have literally no idea what I'm doing and I don't want to knock anything out that shouldn't be knocked out. EDIT: I can take a few photos of the inside, but I'm not sure how much that's going to help.
17. The bass is a Schecter Stiletto Extreme. http://www.schecterguitars.com/Products/Ba...-Extreme-4.aspx Basically, I've tried the basic stuff (changing leads, the amp, changing the battery for the pickups, etc), but nothing's working. I just get nothing out of the amp. When I turn the volume knob, it makes a scratching type sound. What could the problem be and how much do you reckon it will cost to fix? Cheers
18. Sounds fine mate. PM me an address for PayPal if you're comfortable with all that?
19. If you could arrange it, that would be great. Could you do it for £190 with postage at all? Would you accept PayPal for payment also?
