Hey guys. Some of the older members around here may remember me. I started playing bass at 16, and used to frequent the old boards around that time (think the forums actually had a different name back then?). Played for roughly 3 or 4 years before I stopped playing, but recently picked bass back up at 22 and discovered I've still got the talent.
Some of the bassists that are currently inspiring me are Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Marcus Miller, Stu Hamm and Victor Wooten.
The SC near to me has crap staff, but a nice selection of basses, although it seems most of the store is dedicated to guitars. I got my Schecter there, and actually, I can't complain. It was cheap, and it's not given me any problems.
