  1. It can be a tough business. For example, the attached pic is pretty cool. You can't tell we're playing to 10 people in a huge room. Lol Daryl
  2. Depending on the venue 50 people ain't bad. Lot's of us have played to allot less. Daryl
  3. No gigs this weekend.😒 Daryl
  4. Nice, and what a huge crowd. Daryl
  5. Dave, Number 3 is providing sound and lights to other bands. Daryl
  6. Hi Dave, Maple Road is comprised of 3 divisions. 1. Maple Road ( full electric 4 piece rock& blues) 2. She's Right I'm Left ( acoustic offering) 3. Sound & Lighting Daryl
  7. I struggle with our set lists. Here's the good thing. I have absolutely no say in the matter. Lol Daryl
  8. Fantastic vocals and another cool sports jacket. Daryl
  9. Nice videos. Love your singers sports jacket. Daryl
  10. My pedal board failed last weekend.I went bass to amp. My G&L ASAT has an active pre amp so it wasn't so bad. When I returned home I looked at everything and found the my wireless transmitter and receiver were set to different channels. An easy fix. Lol Daryl
  11. This was a gig we maybe should have passed on because of the drummer stuff. However Strawberry Fest is a big event and we have a good relationship with the owner of Weislers who sponsored us. So I guess it was more of a business decision. It was a 3-7 gig. That's very long for me. And our 2 breaks were short. Not a good gig for me. I can't point fingers at the dep drummer. He did the best he could under the circumstances. Daryl
  12. Rhearsal footage. Pretty long version. I love how the bass player is playing way outside of the box.Very raw, no post production. This is what Chic sounds like live. Headphones or ear buds needed for this one Daryl
  13. We've been playing a lot of the same stuff for over 15 years. However, our material is pretty much wide open. And we never play anything the same twice. I posted a video of us performing Neil Young's " Ohio". We've been playing it for years but not like the video. It was basically a jam format. When it works it's very cool. When it doesn't it's a drag. Daryl
  14. This Saturday we're playing Strawberry Fest. Sponsored by C.Weislers. Huge event with lots of walk by traffic. We start at 2:00. There will be a covered stage. Dep drummer, no rehearsal with him. We'll be winging it. I need this gig money. I have property taxes due on 7/31. Daryl
  15. Now that you mention it , it does look very Fender Lake Placid Blue. Daryl
  16. You guys look great. Daryl
  17. Car Show gig was ok. 11-2. Certainly nothing to write home about. Daryl
  18. These guys look like a million bucks ! Daryl
  19. I get it. We never take videos or post them. I ran into these videos by accident. I don't know who took them or posted them. Daryl
  20. We played a 6-8 acoustic gig at Reveredin Delafield last night. An hour commute one way. We played outside to a lovely dinner crowd. The weather was fantastic. Not a big payday. However all 4 of us walked away with a hundred bucks. 10:30am sound check tomorrow morning for the full Maple Road gig at the car show tomorrow. Daryl
  21. Thanks Moley, I couldn't hear the BVs on stage. I didn't know Max was singing until I saw the video. Daryl
  22. Thanks Dave, I think for me it a longevity thing. I'm not a technical player . I just fell into bass naturally when I was around 13 or 14. My feeling and love for it is the same at 70. I also think what we do is very "jam brandish" and more of a regional appeal. I'll be looking for some video from your band Dave. Daryl
  23. Thanks Dave, Here's our version of Ohio. Daryl
