  1. Cheers everyone more pics if it helps
  2. Had to fix a loose pot shaft (my fault trying to get old plastic witches at knob off) my god that was frustrating putting it back together- but ground and white wire from pick up have come loose I assume. Got soldering iron but not sure where to reattach them please help an idiot in distress
  3. Enjoy NBD and welcome to the community 👌
  4. Sure thing Bass Stack - brand new fender gig bag
  5. Howdy yes still for sale so far
  6. Strawberry and cream! NBD: 99 CIJ PB62 - neck on Bruce Thomas is better, just nicer and faster and the pups are hotter - 62 in dire need of a set up - also flats - but once set up it’s got mojo!
  7. Cheers Tom will send tracking when I post - enjoy NBD!
  8. Bass sounded awesome in rehearsal last night - it's typical isnt it - just when you buy another bass - your old bass sounds killer then you think - i need 2 P basses - one with flats and one with rounds! Think this is due to Markbass amp finally breaking in - was just a joy to be groovin
  9. Rehearsal tonight - think I’ve found it - sounded great, really enjoyed playing - also NBD Friday so really looking forward to rehearsing again
  10. i've woke up with second thoughts too - will sleep on it till weekend then might keep
  11. Listen to this person they know the truth 🤩
  12. I got mine from BC. As couldn’t wait to see one here and 3 weeks after I bought it was one on here 🤩
  13. Yes it’s crap now - total nightmare means can’t buy from EU without delays and added VAT
  14. Well didn't think i'd be selling this but just fell in love with a CIJ P Bass and it's one in one out with me. I may regret it. This as others here will attest, a lovely bass based on the famous 64 Bruce Thomas was famous for, there has obviously been a lot of love and care gone into crafting this bass. One of the nicest necks i've played, custom designed to Bruce Thomas' high standards, it's a 40mm nut width and as it has a satin finish, it is a joy to play with rolled edges so no fret sprout. The orange body (salmon pink officially but looks orange to me) looks amazing and looks different in different lights but always wow. The pups are very hot, custom wound for Bruce and the response from hi to low is great. Has old school roller bridge saddles for custom string spacing, which is about 19mm on this bass. Freshly strung with brand new light gauge EB roundwounds for super ZING! No dead spots and intonation good - i've added the ashtray cover can remove if you prefer No dings or scratches that i know of, never gigged but seeing as bought last summer that's no surprise. Also comes with brand new Fender gig bag. If this had a Fender logo on it it would be over 1k easy Can post for £20 to UK only im afraid as Brexit has messed up buying/selling abroad big time (took 45 days to return an amp to Germany this year) but if the bass doesn’t sell - I’ll take that as a sign that I need 2 p basses Plus a signed copy of BT’s Rough Notes book - a must read for bassists
  15. i might get the NY121 extension but went MB for potability or the Fender 500 but to be honest - we only tend to play 300 capacity places - GASing on a MIJ P bass which may be the answer haha
  16. Great stuff - good that it was 🎤 up too
  17. I got a great little stand from my sister as a present - good luck with gig 👍
  18. At low volume it is superb - what I’ve settled on is low gain more volume, bass on 11pm lo mid 10pm, hi mid 12pm, high 1pm - vpf off and vle 9pm which sits good in the mix but don’t like it in its own - without vle it’s clanky and with it adds mud but rounds out the mids. With the fender I just set it flat and more gain that volume and was great - but not tried BT Pbass loud through Fender
  19. Rehearsed twice with it now and it’s bit muddy but also Bruce Thomas p bass with TI flats is new. At moment not overly impressed - sounds good in mix but on its own lacks clarity- will work on eqing- anyone else get this? My Fender Rumble 200 has more punch
  20. what a beaut - if i had the cash i would!
  21. Hi Mike yes shortie
  22. lighter a feather i've no scales but my P Bass is 8lb and it's probably 5lbs when lifting both
  23. Thank you! i believe it is the Mandocaster - Ian can play just about anything you put in his hands - we were missing our lead player too due to covid restrictions in his town that day
