1. Just found this thread guys, so if any of you are still up for trying the Dr Bass Cabs just get in touch when they are in. I will post up in my sub forum letting you know when they turn up. Cheers, Robbie.
2. Cheers for the plug on the cabs Jaime bud, To everybody else Jaime came down to see me last year about a custom bass and brought his TF550/DR Bass rig and when he plugged Marty's 6 fretless marseer into the rig I was blown away. Two months later I had my own TF550, so now Im hoping the 2460's will be a great cab and I might sell my Accugroove El Whappo Jr, Marc at Dr Bass Cabs reckons his 2460 smokes the El Whappo Jr. Im sure I will A/b the two for a review! Dood bud you are most welcome down to my home anytime, cya in the new year! Cheers, Robbie.
3. I remember going thru a Harke LF cab (Stretched cab with 4x10 and centered Horn) Sound great with the old 400+ , just glad it wasn't mine due to the shear weight of the cab. Not sure I like the looks of the new Hydrive stuff, sounds abit thin! Cheers, Robbie.
4. The Bag end cabs are real nice, they are a little heavy weight wise but make up for it in sound. Im sure you will be happy with it. Smart distro use to sell them in the UK, good luck with it. Robbie.

10. Hi Guys, My rig is quite light, Any one got any Dr Bass Cabs! Cheers, Robbie.
11. Enrico at Wood&tronics might be able to do a good deal, http://www.woodandtronics.com/ Otherwise go with martin at the Gallery. Robbie.
12. Stunning bass bud, Love Chris larkins work!
13. Try cutting the second row of para Eq, less is more. The Thunderfunk site helps alot with understanding the way the para Eq works, http://www.thunderfunk.com/downloads/Thund...39;s_Manual.pdf Page 6 Cheers, Robbie.
14. Indeed share the TFunk Love, the best thing on these amps is the simple setup. Most of the time you can just keep it all at 12 and tweak the timbre and enhance knobs. And cut the mids for that Slaptastic sound.
15. Hi Pete, Thanks for the interest basses, I got the Linear bearing track and slide rail units from my old work place. Units like this wouldn't be cheap, Ive still got to mount the routers on the Ali plates. Hoping it will work well for me, gonna be in the workshop today working on the basses. Cheers, Robbie.
16. All the best with the sale on the heads, I would keep hold of the TF. Would you be looking at something else if you sold both? Good luck bud, Robbie.
17. Hi All, Well got the benches in and we will be ready to continue work on the basses next week, just setup my new Jet Drum sander and Pillar Drill. Got to get a new Bandsaw soon also. Custom Router table More pics later in the week, Cheers, Robbie.
18. I just got back from NY and I was going to buy one from BH Audio at $ 585 dollars, I feel alittle gutted that I didn't get one again. Im sure this will be snapped up soon. I just couldn't see why I needed one with the thunderfunk, but they are truely the best DI preamp boxes on the market. Thru a nice poweramp they rock on tone preset 2! Bump this all the way home! Robbie.
19. Hi All, The workshop is nearly ready, should have some pics over the weekend. Also Alex's pots have come in for his bass, cant wait to get cracking again on the basses. Cheers, Robbie.
20. Liking the tone woods on this one, it will be a sweet bass for sure.
21. Check otu Watford valves, I believe he has some BL's in stock. Cheers, Robbie.
22. The warmoth bodies and neck are good quality, my last Jazz bass had a black korina warmoth body and Status Graphite neck. With the exchange rate as good as it is, you should order the body, neck and maybe some of the hardware stuff. Ive sold the status neck but still have the J bass body, gonna get it fitted to a mighty mite maple neck soon. Enjoy the build, Cheers, Robbie.
23. Hi Guys, Well we are back from NY, had a great time and spent loads on clothes Top of the Empire! Still busy fitting out the workshop, should be able to get back on the basses in the next couple of weeks. Cheers, Robbie
