I think this thread needs pics of that amp setup

I've played that amp setup, it was vicious.
Yeah you both have, I'll try and sort some pic's out asap.
 3.
I used a DB728 & 680 with a pair of GS410's as my main Rig for about 4 months...... See Avatar) for sure the best bass tone on the planet ! But the Weight !?! That 728 made an Ampeg SVT seem like a lightweight solution !! Mine Went to a Guy in Italy for a stupidly low price, wished I'd hung on to it Mark
I wish I had brought it, but couldnt justify two identical rigs then! But now.....hummmm
 4. BassBod supplied me with a plathora of MIT bass cables, great guy and great cables. Highly recommended.
 5.
Nice to see you still have that fretted, glad you didn't sell it now Lee-man? I'm gutted you changed your mind about that, it's a really nice bass.
Yeah I don't know what I was thinking. It's now my main gigging bass and sounds ace with Sadowsky stainless strings.
 6.
I have been surfing the internet too long. I can tell the fretted bass came from Electromusic and the fretless from BassNW just from the pics! I'll get me coat... PS Nice basses.
You sado.......but I'm the same! It's a sickness
 7.
Seriously nice stuff - you don't see the blue/tort combination very often. You need a nice pricey cable mate....don't want to miss anything BB
SMOOVE sales there BB!
 8.
Id be quite interested in the Levys one. The pair if i have to. Do you have a pic of the back of it? Im looking for something thinnish and one that doest sit too high up. I have a very basic Levys one thats perfect but im after another. Its not the same as yours but i think your would be fine. just want to check how high the straps go. I assume they will take a P bass? Cheers.
Sorry mate these are now sold. Lee
 9.
Two beauties ! A few questions - are those Nordies on the fretted bass - if so - what do they sound like and can you readily switch between humbucking and single coil on both pickups? Finally, who did your epoxy job on the fretless ? Cheers Bill
The pickups are actually Aero's (as fitted to Foderas) and it's an Aguilar 3 band pre. Sounds wicked. The epoxy on the fretless was done by Sadowsky as an option. Lee
 10.
Great looking basses and with the amplification, that's some serious bass gear in the pictures!!! Are you the proud owner of it all?
Not my gear in the pics. My current rigs are: Aguilar DB680 Aguilar DB728 Aguilar AG500 2x Aguilar GS410 Soon to be augmented with a DB750 as well. Lee
 11.
I might take that neck, if you can give me sizes for the heel including spacing between screw holes. It has to fit on a Squier Std Strat body. Do you have the neckplate/screws/missing bit of the locking nut? Cheers
The heal is 5.7 cm wide and 7.7cm long. Distance between the screws (from centre of screw) is 5cm and 3.6 cm ish. The back plate and screws are provided. No locking nut though, but I do have a full floyd rose going cheap and just checked that it will fit. See my other thread for some other guitar goodies. Here's a pic of the diecast back plate.
 12.
Thanks, I think I'll give that a shot... Just to clarify, I take 2-3 cocktail sticks, secure them in the hole with wood/pva glue, wait to dry, then screw? O
+1 for this, works a treat
 13.
Excellent taste if I may say so. Has the fretless been fitted with a VTC?
Yep has a VTC, which is great
 14. Just found another feedback thread for Me, so have copied the information below with a link to the other one. I want you all to know how lovely and great I am From Mego0810 "Just bought a Fender Victor Bailey from Lee. Great deal went very smoothly. Very good with directions when I was lost!! Good cup of tea. Really nice guy and great to deal with. Mego " Hope this was ok. Any other feedback glady excepted!
 15. I've heard this before a few times about this venue.
 16. Here's my main two gigging/recording basses. The blue one is a fretless with epoxy board Lee
 17. One levys in good condition and it's well padded. The other is by Wings (JHS) and no where near as good, does the job though £15 + p&p for the PAIR
 18. Guitar neck and back plate+ screws from a mid 80's Charvel. The neck has a crack in the head stock, but stability is still great and does not seem to be effecting it. £15 + p&p Washburn VGA 7 battery powered amp, works great with bass and guitar. Measures 9 inches high and 10 wide. NOT the same as those Marshall ones. I bought it for busking years ago and you can run it off a mains adaptor. £20 + p&p Rock 'n Roll strap made by the person that makes Madonnas bra's. SOLD Cheers Lee
 19. Right guy's been doin a clear out and found these bit's. Sorry bout all the guitar bits and I know it's basschat, just thought some one might find them usefull. The guitar bits are from an old project I put together years ago and stripped down a few years back for anoth that I never got round to. I will do a deal on the all the guitar bit's together. First up is a geniune USA made Jackson Floyd Rose and locking nut ect (all the bits you need to fit e.g. screws and block, no whammy bar tho) from a very early 80's superstrat (Charvel or Jackson soloist?). I'm after SOLD Set of 6 in line machineheads with screws to fit that were taken from the same guitar SOLD Pickups from a different USA Jackson that were removed for upgrade to active EMG's. Also will include the wiring SOLD 2 black guitar knobs, the thing from a selector switch and an output jack plate £3 + p&p Plastic bits from the back of a Charvel £3 + p&p Cheers Lee
 20.
Following on from the recent cable thread (yes, I know) I'm offerring up my little used MIT Ripcord cable - the one with plastic boxes at either end. Its had very little use, I guess its about 8 years old and around 20 ft long. So if you've ever fancied trying a "high end" cable without paying a fortune, its yours for £20 posted (UK). I've also got a set of LaBella flats, set 760FL (43, 60, 82,104). They've been on a Jazz bass for around three days so they're not really broken in, although technically they have been used. I'm just a jessie who prefers the flimsy feel of Thomastik flats. These are the same type as the Jamerson set, but lighter guages, which should make them a bit kinder to your bass neck? Yours for £15 posted. cheers - usual PM for questions, (but please, no more in depth discussions about cables! ) I'll do some photos if anyone's interested etc BB
I'll take the MIT rip cord, please PM me your paypal and I'll send you the money
 21. no worries mate, let me know what you come up with
