9.
Have a bump for a gorgeous bass...
Cheers mate, I'm gutted to let it go, but my new Sadowsky is on order and the car is dead BTW it comes with a gig bag and recent set up. Lee
10. Hello guy's, it pains me to do this, but the car is knackard and I need the cash quick. I purchased this early 90's Stingray many moons ago brand new from the Bass Centre. It's in fantastic condition. I'm looking for a quick sale hence £725.

Valenti

Glad you like it mate. Was playing with Roddy Radiation from the Specials at the weekend.......he reckons I'm mad for parting with it, I reckon he's right!
12. As per the title, let me know what you think of me. Lee
13. Oh by the way the Valenti is fitted with a VTC (vintage tone control, see Sadowsky's website for more info as it's the same as theirs) and the pre amp is an 18v system giving excellent head room.
14. The Paulman ones come with one as standard, how ever I'll take some photos as it looks like standard drum hardware bits to me.
15. My EUB uses a cymbal stand
16.
This is one of the best gigbags you can get, it's actually like a soft case with over an inch of rigid foam surrounding the instrument on all sides. It features a large pocket on the front, padded shoulder straps. It's covered in tough waterproof material. New these are about £170. This is quite a heavy case/bag, I travel by train a lot and find it a bit too heavy, but it's ideal if you're travelling to a gig or session by car. £95 plus postage or personal collection.
I'll take it! How much for postage?
17.
Oh that's nice ... famous too .. So is there anything in the rules about like for like? How close does it have to be? Could you, say, IN and new bass and OUT a full bag of recycled newspapers, a few wire coat hangers, an old mains lead and a few fridge magnets?? Wood, wires, magnets .. more or less the same basic ingredients ..... Worth a go ?
I might try that mate, I'll let you know how I get on! Just replied to some PM's peeps.
18. Cheers for the words guy's. Just been playing this on a session at work, not sure I should sell it, but we now operate a strict one in one out rule at home
19. Hi Guy's , I'm tempted to sell my Valenti P, only cause I've ordered a new fretless. The quality of this bass is right up there with the best (as you'd expect from a former Sadowsky employee), in fact there is no real difference between the Valenti and my NYC Sadowsky. Fit and finish is excellent. Here's the spec: Swamp Ash Body Transparent Blue Finish Maple neck with Maple fretboard Satin Finish on neck Nordstrand NP4 Precision Pickup Aguilar OBP-1 preamp Controls: volume, bass, treble Hipshot HB-1 Tuning Keys Hipshot D-tuner Gotoh Quick Release Bridge Black Pearl Pickguard Black Hardware Also will come with a fitted SKB hard case. Here's a couple of reviews of this very bass: <a href="http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.p...ght=valenti+005" target="_blank">http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.p...ght=valenti+005</a> <a href="http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=174844" target="_blank">http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=174844</a> More info avalible from www.valentibasses.com The bass will be sold with a fresh set up and a new set of Sadowsky strings fitted. I'm looking for £750 Cheers Lee
20. Try www.valentibasses.com Nino has one of his basses in the spec you want, soo much better than a Fender MIA.
21.
Man, that Valenti is boooooootiful ^_^
Yeah it rocks mate, one of the nicest P's I've played (including some early '60's ones as well.)
22.
That sounds interesting. Skabilly? Not heard of this genre but it has me intrigued!
It works a treat mate, suprisingly well actually.
