    Just having a bit of a clearout,I have a trace bfc4 controller and 8 pin lead,bought this brand new but its not compatible with my old school head £25,Wilkinson humbucker,can be split to single and in and out of phase(38mmx104mm and23mm deep) £10.Pair of jazz pick ups(unknown) £10 and a high mass jazz style bridge £10(85mmx57mm)19mm spacing,can post,cheers.[attachment=52342:Bass_parts.jpg]

    My mates selling his bass gear and I just put his westone on here and this is his trace elliot head,its an ah 350 gp7sm,made in 1992.Big big sound,the only things wrong apart from being well gigged are there is no green florescent tube fitted,2 little rubber caps missing from the two low EQ sliders and 1 of the high eq sliders a is little tight,but everything works perfectly,I think its a mk5 or mk6 but I will be corrected,collect or can courier,cheers[attachment=52330:Photo0104.jpg][attachment=52331:Photo0105.jpg][attachment=52332:trac e_1.jpg][attachment=52333:trace_2__2_.jpg]

    One of my mates is selling his bass gear and this was his pride and joy but he hasnt played it for ten or 15 years or so,no buckle rash,just a couple of small chips on the lower edge of the body but hardly noticeable.Pots and switches are a little scratchy but I think because it hasnt been used for such a long time.He banged 2 new batteries in and the active struck up(original jap batteries were in),sounds massive.Ebony fingerboard,through neck,mother o pearl inlays,bass and treble and midsweep,active on and off toggles in and out of phase and push pull split coils,all sorts of sounds.Fitted a set of 2nd hand strings,there about 4 months old(the others were absolutely dead,probably on from new)Only 2 things have been modded,2 of the original knobs were missing so I fitted a set of EMG ones I had spare and someone has fitted an led but its not wired in.Anyway there you go.Would rather someone pic up but suppose it can be posted.WITHDRAWN[attachment=52316:Photo0094.jpg][attachment=52321:Westone.jpg][attachment=52317:DSC_ 0097.JPG][ attachment=52318:DSC_0099.JPG][attachment=52323:Photo0097.jpg][attachment=52325:Photo0099.jpg]

    Actually unless the valve blend knob is wound up it cant be the valve,you can remove it and the amp will still work perfectly(Its just a blend),deffo a trip to a repair shop

    I am no expert but I have had several trace heads from mk4s onwards.The last s5 gp11 300watt head was so f*****in loud it was unreal.I now play through a 99 model ah500 12smx which doesnt sound as "loud" but has a lot more clarity and punch if that makes any sense,my spare is a series 6 ah350 7 band which again does do a massive sound but not quite as clear,maybe it must be the pre amp section I dunno,either way great amps,played through allsorts but trace always suits my sound.(Also play through trace 1048h and trace 4x8)

    Thanks Fuzzy (Daz) for taking the time to drive out 80 miles in total and charged me only a tenner for fuel to meet me halfway with the cab,great condition,sounds great too,and we had a damn good chat.Top bloke and would recommend him as a seller(Or buyer,whatever) to anyone,thanks again,Mike, Mikhay77.

    Thanks then to fuzzy and merton,tried the 4x8 sat on top of my 1048h and my ah500 12 runnin em both tonight,sounds f***ing awesome,punchy as fook,and clear as a bell,so thanks again and another bump for your awesome combo for sale.
