5.
Absolute stunner. You wouldn't consider a trade for a high end 5 string fretless by any chance?! *prays*
I'm afraid not, sorry. I already have a fretless and I am really after a jazz bass. I checked it out though, nice looking bass!

 8.
its a Jaco.. no pickguard as standard..but why no holes...awsome awsome bass mind..
I am aware that Jaco had no pickguard, but he also didn't use the pickup or bridge covers so why include those. I'm just being fussy.
 9. Does it come with a pickguard? It seems like it should if the ashtray and pickup cover are included.
 10.
I still can't believe the tone in that recording! And, the more I listen to it, the more I have to reiterate that it is a wonderful jazz recording. Bravo! I have a question about the dampers, how and why do you use them? I haven't seen those on any bass before.
Thanks very much! I didn't use the mutes too much to be honest, they were on the bass already when I got it and I couldn't find a situation where I needed them really. This is the website where they come from http://www.bassmute.com/bassmute/bm_mainframe.html.
