1. A bit like this one, mines a slightly older model without the trigger things. It was bought for £100 at Christmas and is like new. http://www.skbcases.com/music/products/pro...p;c=84&s=75 I use either a gigbag or a full flightcase so this is just taking up valuable space. I'm after £50 if collected or £60 posted, or you can collect it from my parents house in Birmingham.
 2.
Great price, but tell us more about the problem; was it just a dud output or something else as well? Did you buy if off Basschat?
Hi The outputs are usually connected to a little circuit board that joins the two outputs together. There was a problem with the little board so it was replaced with a new speakon output wired direct. It'd be a simple matter to add another Speakon output, I've seen wiring diagrams on the interent, I've just never had the need to add another. No, it was bought in a private sale. I've done dozens of gigs with it and it's performed perfectly everytime. I'm using it tonight for a gig, I wouldn't if there was any doubt over it.
 3. I've had it for about 12 months and I've used it loads with my Acme cab, it really sounds great through it. I'd like to get something smaller for touring though, possibly a Markbass LMII. It comes with an EA soft case and the rack ears. It's in great cosmetic condition and works perfectly. However the previous owner had a problem with it and consequently it only has one Speakon output instead of the usual two. I haven't found this to be a problem though due to my Acme Low B2 being a 4 ohm cab. I'd like £300 for it which I feel is a great price. Postage to the UK should be about £20 or you can collect it from my parents house in Birmingham. Trades welcome for a Markbass LMII plus cash from me.
 4. I bought this from a friend just before Christmas. I'd planned on buying and using effects pedals but I've had a change of mind and I'm going to stick with using a multi-effects unit. It's this sort of thing http://www.diago.co.uk/pedal-boards/pedal-...s/overview.html It's in really good condition. I paid £45 for it and I'd like to get that back, plus postage or you can collect it from my parents house in Birmingham.
 5. I just bought something else so this is redundant. £40 including postage.
 6. I've got 3 of these, probably the best gig bags you can get. This is a great price too.
 7. Bump and price drop. I'm out of the UK until Thursday so I can't post any photos, but it's in excellent condition, and looks like the ones on the website. 8.
The best Shuker I've ever played doesn't come anywhere close to the worst Fodera. They're not even playing the same sport.
I've played 3 Shukers, nice basses but they all felt kind of 'stiff' (for want of a better word), it's hard to put into words but they weren't 'inspiring'. I've played a couple of Fodera basses (very nearly bought one of 'em), they both played like a dream. Totally different class of instrument. But you could (I would anyway) say that Fenders and Musicman basses are way over priced for what they are. Basically a mass produced mostly machine made instrument.
 9. What's this like for bass, it's the reverbs and modulation effects that I'm interested in. Where abouts are you ?
 10.
Ones I just took off my P were .070-.090-.110-.145. More sensibly, get these
Wow ! I use a 110 as a low B string on my Zon.

 13.
Funny, I thought you said 'decent therefore expensive'.
Well aren't the decent cables expensive then, relatively speaking ? Zaolla, Evidence audio, Chord etc, they're all the same sort of price, I don't see what you're getting at.
 14.
Would you say that your Evidence cables are better than the Chords because they are more expensive?
No, price doesn't come into it, it's the quality of the thing that counts. I've tried the chord cables and really liked them, I've used Zaolla too and liked them. The EA cables are no better or worse, I just like them.
 15.
With the great smell of snake oil mmmmmmm
Try a decent and therefore expensive cable first and then say that .

 18. Ampeg with a double bass sounds a bit bizarre. You'd usually want something to reproduce the sound of the DB as accurately as possible. I have a load of gear that I can use, but I find my EA iAmp into my Acme B2 to be the most versatile. It's very compact, loud and accurate. The EA's EQ section is probably the most versatile on any amp, and can make the Acme sound like anything else.

 20. I use an EA iAmp 800 with my Acme Low B2 and it sounds brilliant. Plenty loud enough for most occassions, but I tend to so big shows with full PA or very small jazz things, but I've never had to turn it up much past halfway.
 21. I'm sure that someone was advertising on 'Wal basses naturally' for a Wal 5 string with an ebony board a week or so ago.

 24. I'm after just one unit that has effects and a looper. Sorry I wasn't too clear in my original post.
 25. I'm after an effects unit that does looping. I saw Michael Manring last year, and he was using one of these and it sounded really nice.
