1.
Argh ! 2 of my favourite basses posted on here within an hour of each other, you're all trying to send me crazy ! The fact it's in Birmingham is just cruel.
Ha ha .
2. I've had this for a while now, it's a great amp. I only ever use the clean channel though, so it's a bit of a waste having the two channels. Anyone want to trade their single channel head for my two channel, plus a bit of cash to me ?
3. This is a reluctant sale but I really want an SR5. I'm also selling a Fender Jazz Deluxe 5, if that goes first then I'll pull this. It's the best looking Marcus Miller bass that I've seen. It has some beautiful figuring on the body, neck and the headstock. It's in excellent condition, no marks or scratches at all on the bass. Some minor swirls from finger nails on the scratchplate. It has a really nice low action, and plays great. It's strung with DR Marcus Miller Low beam strings, I'll include a spare set with the bass. Comes with a Fender tweed gigbag. £650 including shipping or you can collect it from Birmingham.
4.
Do you mean my Stingray thats for sale? Whereabouts are you based? Could we see more photos please? ( Including the neck marks)
I've uploaded the only photos I have for now, I'm away until Sunday. I'm in Birmingham.
5. I took this in a trade earlier in the year, but there's a rather nice SR5 for sale that I fancy. It's a really beautiful looking bass, and is in nice condition. It does have a couple of small marks on the body (nothing really visible), and a couple of marks on the back of the neck. I did ask John Diggins if it'd be possible to have the neck sanded and refinished to get rid of these, he said it'd be a really easy job and not cost a lot to do. I never really noticed these when playing, I've only mentioned them because they're there. I think it's about 10 years old. It's finished in a translucent red with a pearl white pickguard, it has a maple fingerboard. It has a superb low action, and sounds great it has a very modern sound that really cuts through in a live situation. It has Fender low noise pickups, and a very versatile Fender preamp. Currently strung with DR Lo-rider nickel strings. It comes with a Fender hardcase. My apologies for the very poor photographs, they were taken by the previous owner on his phone. I'm away until the weekend, but I'll post some better ones then, if the bass is still around. Interested parties are welcome to call around and see the bass in person though. I'd like a very reasonable £600 plus shipping, or you can collect it from Birmingham.

Worst-case scenario: Every weekend, for the rest of your miserable life.
I really honestly can't remember the last time I had to play that, and I gig on average 3 or 4 times a week.

10. I've read the specs on both on the Ashdown website, but what's the basic sound difference between the two ? The ABM range has a better sensitivity rating, but the MAG cabs go lower. It's the 4x10 cabs that I'm specifically interested in.
11. I'll include UK postage too.
12. It's a 4 ohm cab. It's at my parents house by Birmingham .
13. I've owned it for about 5 years. It's in good cosmetic condition and excellent working order. Comes with a cover. £200 plus postage.
14. I've done A/B tests with different cables and there is a 'hearable' difference. I did a couple of gigs last year with a fairly well known guitarist and he used Pete Cornish cables. We did a comparison with my Evidence audio cables, and a few others that I'd got, a Zaollo and a Vovox. There was definitely a difference in tone between each one. You wouldn't notice it on the everage gig, but possibly on recordings you may.
15. I have a Boss GT6B that I recently acquired. I couldn't decide whether to go for seperate pedals or a multi, and I went multi but wish that I'd gone for seperate pedals. So this is for sale. Comes complete with a new Gator bag, power supply and a copy of the user manual. £120 plus postage. Trades welcome for an EBS Dynaverb, Chorus or Multicomp.
16.
MB1. Hey Doc! Your Old One! Was this not the bass Mark put up as a prize in a competition in Musicians International magazine?....I know he originally signed it on the front in silver marker which was lacquered over. When i met Mark on the World Machine Tour i mentioned it as obviously i hadnt won it, He told me the guy who won the bass didnt actually play bass and had sold it to a shop....shortly after being presented with it,Mark saw it in the shop window and got polydor to get it back.....Is this the same bass?...does look like it!...
I remember that competition, I entered it something like a dozen times hoping to win. You had to say how many parts made up a Jaydee MK bass, and there were anagrams of bass players names that you had to decipher (that was the 1st time I'd heard of Marcus Miller). I still have the magazine somewhere.
17. Made by Castle cases in Tamworth last year for an Aguilar AG500 head. I've also used it to house an EA iAmp800, and I'm sure it'll accommodate pretty much any bass amp head. Standard 19" case, the front to back measures 35cm with 4cm in each lid to allow for protruderances (my spell check says there's no such word, but I like it ). In good condition. £50 plus postage or you can collect it from my parents house in Birmingham.
