Well, after nearly breaking my heart after a crippling neck break, and losing it for a good while for repair... it has subsequently rekindled my love of bass, made me focus on fretless, and taught me that actually you tend to bond with instruments very rarely.

After all that heartache it’s now become the very first instrument that I truly couldn’t ever part with...

Once of the original 15" Barefaced Compact Cabs. It's a Gen2 I believe, and is largely unmarked with the original covering in good condition. 

Comes with a cover (It's a roqsolid I believe as well..)

I've now found the original carry bag, so that comes included as well

Ashdown CTM-15 mini valve head. Now discontinued so a bit harder to get hold of. 

Tested and working.

Yep I’ve lived in Oxford too. Mine was the Bird and Baby when morse was having his lunchtime quaff.

Ash at Oil City has wound a few P pickups for me and he is excellent - you tell him the sound you are after and he will wind it for you.

No, very true it will run in 9v 500mah and it is a bit dirtier... still a great sound either way!

2012 Dave Hall VT1 Bass Preamp/EQ/Boost

Valve driven, early model (2012) - no box, velcro on bottom but removable. 

A few marks on the back, and some of the silver felt tip writing is rubbing off a bit.

Comes with 2 spare valves (untested)
