5.
I have for sale my Iamp800. Very good amp just want to go down same route as my Aguilar cabs and get a head to match. Plenty of power with it having 800 watts @ 4 ohms and 1K at 2 ohms also plenty of scope with the EQ, although I tend to run it flat and just use the pre set switches which are a great idea and do any fine adjustments with my guitars EQ. I am no salesman so excuse my lack of Flamboyance. Prob get knocked for silly price again but will take £350 plus postage costs.
PM'd fir 1st dibs!
 6.
I've got a Phil Jones Briefcase for sale. All the specs you could want here: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp..._Briefcase.html I'd prefer pickup from Glasgow as it quite heavy (28lb), but would consider posting it within the UK (which I'm guessing would cost around £30). It's a really great sounding cab, but I no longer require it. Currently goes for around £450 new. So, make me a half decent offer (maybe around the 300 quid mark?) and I'll likely accept. Cheers, Douglas.
PM'd
 7. Thanks for the tips everyone. I think I'll get myself one of the above. ChrKelly, I see you are in London, would you mind passing a contact number? Tom
 8. Dear all, Have been lurking for quite a while, though this is my first post: I am getting a bit desperate to sort out my stage sound, particularly with the smaller gigs for which the band uses our own PA. After my combo with DI output was stolen I have been going straight into the PA using a DI box and have trouble hearing myself from front of stage, let alone getting a satisfactory sound from my double bass with fishman pick up. I have always had feedback problems with monitors so the combo was the best way for us all to hear the bass. Having disovered Basschat Forum my eyes have been opened to the world of higher end amps and speakers - indeed I had no idea how much equipment had evolved over the years, and I am waiting to make a decision on what equipment to buy to replace my old combo. So, my question is: Is there some sort of inexpensive pre-amp I can buy to improve the general sound of the upright while I am deciding/saving for a replacement amp? I guess I could put up with stage sound level problem if I am confident that the bass sounds better through the PA. We do have a little wedgie monitor that I could use. Thanks in advance Tom
