5. Knowledgeable salesman that doesn’t want to sell you stuff.
I do recall having a Fender acoustic with an broken/unadjustable truss rod. The fretboard was like a boomerang. It was virtually unplayable.
I think it was a Tanglewood or something. Yes, smooth nevertheless :-)

I tend to swap back and forth. As soon as I feel that I’m starting to get hooked - I swap. And it’s really hard not to get back to flats. I just swapped to roundwounds few days ago.
