  1. Time for it to go so come at me with offers..
  2. Aye, 100%. One end of the wire is still soldered to the eyelet while the other isn't due to it snapping somehow.
  3. After putting back one of my jazz basses I noticed there was a significant drop in volume with the bridge pup solo'd, turns out the copper coil has snapped somewhere in the middle. Now I've got to weigh my options up, try and fix it myself or send it off and get it rewired. If I did the latter how much would I be looking at? I've got Armstrong pickups as a potential, but just wondered what the great BC insight could deliver.
  4. The black one? Aye it's still there but I didn't even look at the price because I know it's out of my budget! Should've tried it in hindsight. Dealt with a guy called Jay who seemed really nice and obviously wanted to talk more bass wise and I would've liked too but the missus was there!
  5. I also went to the Yamaha London store today to take a look and try two out bearing in mind I have a BB1024x at home. The first was the all Japanese BB P34 which looked great and sounded pretty good even through the Hartke. But I found the neck a bit too big for my liking so I put it down and tried the BB234 which again looks great and plays great but found the neck a little to big for me. Unsure what the difference in specs/radius are but my BB1024x trumps them all.
  6. Sorry it just gave me the notification that you replied to this so sent you a PM. Also, Bank holiday bump

  8. Ah my apologies, I've been trying to up my sheet reading skills so didn't look at the tab, thanks for clearing that up.
  9. Sorry for the amateur sight reading question but I assume during Eb bars you play E natural but I don't see a natural symbol by the first E? Unless your bass is tuned down a half step?
  10. If you really want low tension strings I'd suggest TI jazz flats, I've got them on my BB1024x and they are ridiculously easy to play. So much so that I had to raise the action because I play with a medium style attack.

  12. Came across this little jam from way back when; Really like the bass and my ear is rubbish, anyone have any sheet music for them?
  13. Pleasure to do with business with.
