  1. The price is EUR 890,- / GBP 759 Today, a new EURO LX sets you back £1,614.69 at Thomann. Here´s the alternative: An early 1990's Stuart Spector Design (SSD) Euro bass made in Czech Republic. The early Czech models were constructed like the classic US-made NS2 with all-maple wings rather than the more recent Euros which have a laminate of walnut in them. The first one´s being made in Europe didn´t have serials like this bass, so I guess it´s from 1994. The bass is in absolute flawless condition, the beautiful trans red finish is almost perfect. The bass comes with gold hardware and the classic active EMG P/J pickups. The frets are very good, the electrics work as they should, everything is fine with this one. I´m located in Berlin, Germany. Pickup is very welcome, shipping is possible to the expense of the buyer. No trades please. 2. Hi Stuart, please check the ad... I added some pics of the damage. As you can see I peeled off the tape stickers for the first time. After cleaning off the remains of the tape glue it shows that it´s mainly a checking in the clear coat, the black color coat is still there. There´s another small ding next to the electronics cover. I guess this can be touched up with a little work of a professional, I just put back on the black tape.
  3. Thanks for all the praise, guys! How about buying it?
  4. Don´t need a new Hofner as I have a 64 one... but thanks for the offer.
  5. Bumpy. And right-hand-click makes the pics bigger, I forgot to mention that in my ad!
  6. The guy from ACDC had one in inca silver, but he played it without pickguard which makes it an ugly bass.
  7. EUR 3.000 GBP 2668 Please right-hand-click on the pics to see them in higher resolution! I´ve had this bass for more than 20 years, and for some years this was my main instrument. I´m only playing old Fenders these days, so everything else can go. It´s not often that one of these in Inca Silver is for sale, and this one is a good one. My first good bass was a 77 Stingray fretless converted to frets. After that had been stolen I was on the hunt for a good Stingray for many years, during that I´ve had about 6 or 7 Pre-Ernie Ball stingrays. This one was the best and also looked the best, so i kept it. Its from 1979 and has the epoxy covered electronics. Everything up to the end pins is original. It even has the original foam dampers that are dried out by now. The bass has been used a lot, it has a lot of Mojo and the clear coat aged to the typical greenish tone. The bass has the nicest early MM neck I have seen and felt so far, the maple has a strong grain in some areas, it almost looks like a flamed maple although they didn´t have that by then. The frets have some wear but are good to go for many more years. The weight is in the medium range of old Stingrays, it´s 4,6kg. It comes with the ultra rare MM triangular case and triangular soft bag. The case has a few chips from travelling that are covered with tape. I´m in Berlin, shipping is possible on the buyers expense.
  8. EUR 1.100,- GBP 955 I´m selling my 75 Gibson Grabber. The Grabber has been played by Gene Simmons and Suzi Quatro, even Louis Johnson had an endorsement before the Stingray came out. The bass sounds a lot like a Precision Bass, the sliding pickup has a strong output. I always liked theses basses, I had a few of them over the years. This one is the earliest of them from the first year of production. It´s very light, the weight is only 3,5 kg. It´s in original condition incl. the bridge cover. The bass is resonant, unplugged it´s louder than any of my Fenders. It´s in original condition and shows a lot of wear, all natural relic from years of playing. The satin natural finish has faded to a unique dark tone with almost orange patina with Major Mojo. The electrics are fine, the trussrod works as it should. The frets have a little wear but are still good to go for many more years. I´m located in Berlin, Germany. Pickup is very welcome, shipping is possible to the expense of the buyer. The cheapest and safest way would be with neck and body separated to make a smaller package.
