1. I also tend to come and go from various forums. Get bored and quit, go back again later (sometimes ages later). As Woodinblack says, subject forums are where people come to learn stuff, and often disappear once they have gleaned enough knowledge. It's nice if you can stick around and help others though.

3. No, it tends to find me occasionally, but I pretty much live in the 1970's
4. If it's UK only then Talk Talk - The Colour of Spring is probably my fave 80's album. There are lots that come close though.
5. So sad, lets hope that there no more for a while. Fingers crossed. RIP Glen & Dave
6. Wire at the Norwich Arts Centre a couple of years ago; I don't get out as much as I used to
7. I have always been obsessed by Width of a Circle from The Man Who Sold the World album. Tony Visconti on bass pukka!
8. That version of Here Comes the Flood is amazing, sounds more like something from The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway done like that. Love the first PG album; that one and So are my faves of his.
9. Disconnected 2 of the speakers and the noise is pretty much gone, so thanks for your help guys
10. Hi, thanks for reply. Some notes are worse than others! Seems to do it more the higher the volume, but always there.
11. Hi folks. Just wanted to ask a question about a amp head and cab I bought from eBay recently. It's a Marshall 3520 200w amp head with a Marshall MBC 8 x 10 cabinet (bought for amp head, cab is mental, and too big to lug around). Anyway, the cab sounds like it has an army of bees playing comb and paper in it; it just buzzes non stop whilst I'm playing through it. The guy who sold it said that it was only a couple of years old, and had not been used much. I disconnected one of the speakers in it, which made a little difference, and also hammered an extra bit of wood in (no nails) for support, inside the cab. It's a 1200 watt cab with a 200w amp, so it can't be overpowered. Just wondered if anyone has had a similar problem, and if they managed to fix it. Any help much appreciated. I would like to sell it on, but can't do it in current state Cheers
