  2. Sunburst,tort,rosewood,my favourite.If only that fretless had a Jazz as well as the P pickup,it would be my ideal fretless bass,now that i've re-discovered fretless.

  9. They are the same size,only the screw holes will differ,replacement guards will be available in different screw patterns,if you ca'nt find one give Howard (Bass Doc) on here a P.M,he will sort you out.

  11. I think the only thing that would affect the tone would be rosewood or maple board,between the two choices that you mention.

  13. When was the last time you saw a 70's Strat with humbuckers and locking trem,there were loads about in the 80's.I myself have been guilty of horrible crimes to guitars,namely trying to make a 68 thinline Tele into a double cutaway,when i was about 17...............bin.

  15. Hagstrom H1B,in cherry red bought in 1977 for £35 from Jeavons,Percy Street,Newcastle,as a 16th birthday present.And with my birthday money i bought a FAL phase 50,and an 18" speaker,and built a cab from the instructions in Beat Instrumental magazine. Same as this.

  18. No,Burrito,most of the Epi's are 34",but some 30" seemed to have been available,i think someone on here has one.
  19. Some of the Epi 60's EB3's were shipped out in short scale.
