1. Thanks a lot for the help I'll look into it!
2.
If you're already using a combo, and are just getting an extension cabinet it's usually best to get a matching one. It's not like a set in stone rule or anything though
Well at the moment I'm borrowing a Marshall 4x10 combo for gigs, but I'm planning on buying my friends Ashdown EB180 head, and just need a small cab to use for smallish gigs. A 4x10 might be a bit big, and awkward to carry up and down stairs to my uni accomodation in the autumn, so I was looking into 2x10s instead
3.
Budget? What head are you using? What style do you play? There's quite a lot of 210s out there.
Budget.. Maybe under £400/500 really. I don't really play one particular style to be honest. Haha. I just wanted to see if anyone had any particular recommendations.
4.
MB1. Originally posted February 16th 2010....Good Luck! Send Mr Moos3h a PM.
Haha yeah I misread 2010 as 2011. Doh. I PMed him anyway Cheers
5. Looking to buy a 2x10 cab. Perhaps Ashdown? Not particularly experienced with cabs so any offers/advice welcome Cheers
6. Hi there. I live in Bedfordshire so very near, and might be pretty interested. Is this still for sale?
7. Basically I'm thinking of buying a Fender Precision. I preferably wanted it to be sunburst, with a maple fingerboard and a tortoiseshell pickguard. I found one, Standard American(below, but with maple fingerboard) but it's a bit out of my price range. I found another, 50's style (below) but it has that anodised pickguard, so I figured, why not just buy it and replace the guard with one like in the first link. Here's the problem. The Standard american has a 13 hole pickguard, which seems to be all I can find for sale, while the 50's style has a 10 hole pickguard. I guess I could drill holes but I also have no idea if they're even the same size!! I've tried looking into it and visited my local shop today but they weren't much help. Anyone here know if the size of the 2 pickguards will roughly be the same? I don't mind drilling holes if the guards will be the same size. Thanks a lot
8. Yeah, I was planning on buying the Tech 21 Bass Driver DI. And no the amp doesnt have a Line Out I don't think. It literally just had: Inputs, Speaker outputs on the back and a preamp output on the front.
9. I have an old Peavey Bass Combo, Mark III Series, Series 260C, and it has no DI output. I've always been told DIing at live shows is best, and I borrowed a friends amp for a recent gig to use the DI, but wondered if I could still use my Peavey despite no DI output being available? Would miking it up be suitable? Sorry if this is a stupid question I've tried to find information on this topic of having no DI present but can't find anything useful Thanks.
10. I might be interested in this I'm new to this system of how the buying is sorted out but I'm definitely interested
11. I've heard a lot about these but I'm unsure what the effect it does actually is, is it Overdrive? Sorry if this is a stupid question!
12. Recently bought this Multi Fx and it's great, got some decent tones and features such as the handy EQ and compressors. THIS IS NO LONGER FOR SALE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
13.
I'm selling my ME20b now. It's boxed and you can have it for £80 + P&P if you are interested.
Thanks for the offer! I'll get back to you on that
14. Anyone have any experience with either/both? It seems to me that the 50b is a lot more user friendly with everything displayed clearly with dials/knobs. and is nicely laid out. I'm not worried about the lack of switches, because both have 3 and I wouldn't need more than that at any one time anyway so. Any opinions/feedback would be great!
15. I've been playing for a year or so now and have a job under my belt at the moment. I currently have a Peavey 1x18" 400wt combo and it does the job, but I'm looking to get a Cab and Head I don't know a great deal about amps in general and would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions? I'm looking to spend maybe, 500 in total? Round about. Anything less would be great! Thanks
