5.
Maybe they think only one is worth voting for lol.
My bad i only thought we had 1 vote each, didn't actually read the post first.....
6. I voted, not for myself..... I'm surprised that there are so little entries given that there are plenty of players here, it's just 60 seconds of whatever the hell you want to play. A good bit of fun.
7. It used to be for me, i spent years in touring bands until the last project ended quite nastily. Didn't really gig/play much for 3/4 years after that. However recently i have found satisfaction just playing for myself at home. I'm not distracted by practising for live shows, i play what i want, which is really great for me. I'm just focusing on expanding my knowledge of the bass. I do miss playing gigs but have no desire right now to pursue that aspect of my playing.
8. Love it! Perfect with the sunshine today.
9. Im heading to bristol for their show tomorrow. Can't wait!!
10. New to the forum and this looks like fun, dug out my old Ashdown Evo-II RPM-1 pre amp which i thought had bitten the dust as the last time i used it (4 years ago) it was playing up. However for the purpose of this noodle it seemed fine. Haven't really played much over the past 4 years let alone record anything but have found the fire again. Had a play around with the sub harmonics on it and this came out. https://soundcloud.com/asambique/suboodle/s-92iG7
11.
Although it smells like Another one bites the dust "my" country had the best bass line in the competition ! 12. The micro cube did come onto to my radar, looks good for the money too!!
13. I think i'm leaning more towards the classic black!! 😊 I have a couple of weeks to mull it over anyway haha. Sold some studio bits to fund it but have to wait untill they get paid at the end of the month.
14. The more i look around it just seems the right choice. Spent some time today researching and the double 4 comes out on top each time. I did read some people had some unwanted noise because of the power supply? but it seems that may have been an issue with older models? The only question is really, white, red or black?
15. I'm considering getting a PJB double 4 BG75 for dedicated practice. I don't own any sort of amps at the moment as i got rid of my gear a while back due to not needing it anymore, i've recently just been playing through my audio interface and studio monitors/headphones which has been adequate for now but can be a pain when the mrs is home and has nabbed the laptop. I've been out of touch with bass gear for some time now but slowly getting back into things. I'm just looking for something small with great tone and nothing that is going to pump out some serious noise levels. I live in a flat with horrendously thin walls and as much as i'd love to musically slap my obnoxiously loud neighbours across the face i'd rather keep things to a minimum. Before i spend the money on the PJB i'm wondering if there are any alternatives to consider before? Around a similar or hopefully lower price bracket. Cheers.
16. This never fails to put a spring in my step. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-c0vgKnNz68
17. Hello Basschat! Checking in from Cardiff, signed up a few days ago but have been lurking about the place getting familiar with the forum. Been a player for over 10 years now, sadly I have been slowly falling off the wagon over the years and have not been dishing out and low end love! Looking to pick myself back up and immerse myself in all things bass once again. Knew of this place from a long time ago as the current and only bass i own, a 2003 Musicman Sub5 was bought off a fellow basschatter. I'll be dammed if i can remember his name (sorry mate!) or my login details i used at the time. Don't own any gear at the moment as i sold all my equipment as it was not in use, It's been 3 years to this month since i played any live shows, or even with other people it's time to make a change! haha. Anyway, looking forward to getting stuck in around here! Matt
