Dusted off the acoustic guitars, one played in standard tuning the other in Nashville tuning

Bass is a unbranded old 40+ years young Japanese jazz with equally old flat strings

Drum kit a cheap Tornado kit

Acoustic and vocals recorded with a Behringer mic

All recorded in Ableton live, mixed and mastered with Ableton and T racks 

 The song is called Diedfordills , unsure if lyrics have any meaning. Oh yeah, and nicked the phrase from a Thread, hope allowed 😁

My late 80s early 90s experience.

Make sure the venue has a security, well nowadays it's probably a licensing requirement. 

When you play at small festivals/events don't volunteer, if there's an option to play first.

Don't wear spandex trousers.

Don't transport your entire kit on a public transport , including the drum kit.

Don't trust front house sound engineer.

This ...Iron Maiden, they influenced   bands/ artists.. e.g. Metallica, Lady Gaga...I voted for RATM and Judas Priest

I only watched episode 4 , tbh the "performance" is worse than a pub mediocre band. But, this programme has been written/produced for general public viewers, not musicians and definately not for bass players.

But Škoda is finally pronounced correctly in commercials, as Š is pronounced as sh.

This thread reminds me every time someone talks about Paella ( pronouncing it British way). I usually respond: never heard of it, others: you never had paella, me: no idea what that is......and when they explain the dish , me without being difficult ( although finding it amusing)  , I say , or you mean Paella ( Spanish pronunciation)

The conservatory is great for practising in, at least it is now.  It won't be possible to practise there on hot days.

Depends what music you play, imagine calories you burn

Steve Harris gets through a few sets of strings during a tour. They sound great when they're new, but tend to go dead soon. Also ,pricey..

If I ever had a conservatory, not that I ever would want one, I would find it pointless for music related playing, "production". Sound treatment would be a nightmare. 

I can only see having a gym in a conservatory, but first I'd have to start gyming which is highly unlikely.
