Now, it's a Punker. Hope some will catch this. 😬

I have the Sumo : best power amp I've heard to date. Coupled to my Warwick Hellborg PR40, it's just amazing.
This Sumo is even better sounding and has more power than the Pascal 1000 Watts module found in the Trickfish and some others...
And yes it's GSS proprietary module, not something bought elsewhere.
Have a free bump on me.

ME, as I use them to grate that very old Parmigiano. The local farmer use them to cut his cow's horns. And I will recommend them to my wife's sister, who is a medical pedicure, so when the electricity has gone, she will be able to finish the sanding work. 🤔 🤣

That's @Happy Jack indeed. Seeing the shirts or socks he is daring to wear, the bass was of really good taste in comparison. 🤣 😉

Just waiting for the new album too. Hope it won't be as disappointing as the Primus one or the following Primus tour...
That said I've seen them in 2002 in Ettelbruck (Luxembourg) for the Inside the Outside tour and it was a total disaster as the were drunk, just because they couldn't get a decent sound in that crappy venue... The bar was well crowded that night, don't know why. 🤔 😁

Nice haircut, that said Ned. 🤣

Bought an Epifani UL310 Series 1 from @Ashwood1985 through Russ who did the third party for me. Everything went smooth and easy as usual here on BassChat. And another deal with Russ is going on right now.

You can deal in total confidence for this excellent bass.

I've done numerous deals with Jean-Luc, who perfers to be called Jade, without any problem. Fast communication, very good packing when items were sent, ultra fast payment when he bought me some basses, and even better, a very friendly person when he came home for numerous trades. A true credit to BassChat, and even if he's new here, you can deal in total confidence.
He's also a terrific bass and double bass player. 👍

Cliff bought some (old) Fender stuff from me. Payment was done very fast, communication was easy and always friendly. Another credit to BassChat. A+++++++ as they say elsewhere. Will happily deal again with Cliff.

For an instrument played for 10 minutes over the last 38 years, it's absolutely not in pristine condition...

Indeed, Antônio Carlos Jobim has written most the Bossa Nova tunes including A Garota de Ipanema, but it was often a two hands work with João Gilberto, even if he is not always credited : that's show business.

Trevor Horn did a terrific work when you hear that original unedited version... But tha are way much worse original versions, like Devo, for example.
Thanks Lemmy (who surely must be a god 😁), there were fantastic producers and arrangers by the time.

It has become so hard to say the magic words nowadays...

Thanks for the clarification. 👍

Owen let me visit for a bit and had a brief try on this, the API transformer and Warwick Hellborg... I used to use a Hellborg and in my memory it’s ‘my sound’ but I found this preamp to be the most versatile. And the sound is so erm precise - and clean in a way that it’s like listening to something through a top end PA with a really really good horns when everything else is through a struggling 20 year old over driven behringer PA
Urm, your explanations are not very clear... Which one are you talking about : the Grace Felix, the Api TranZformer or the Hellborg PR40.
As a Hellborg PR40 owner too, it's the best bass preamp I've ever heard or tried to date.

Frankly, I think it's time that the estate of the late Mr Paul Bigsby (1899–1968) sued both Fender and Gibson.
Below: From 1947-1948 (four years before the Les Paul and six years before the Strat). Nice headstock and body shape, eh?
and this two pup Bigsby:
It is a fact that both Leo Fender and Les Paul knew Bigsby, sat around and discussed guitars, saw his work, etc.
Suck on that, Gibson bread-head dudes.
The Fenderish headstock is, in fact, an Austrian design from an acoustic guitar of ... 1820. 🤔
I guess the family should sue Bigsby and Fender to earn a lot of money. 😁
Why hire an instrument trader (wanting to earn more money every minute) like Mark Agnesi, as Director of Brand Experience (what did they smoke ?), when they could have hired the way way way more clever Ned Steinberger who licensed his design instead of suing the counterfeiting companies. I know, he would certainly have laughed a lot after the nice job Gibson did with his brand.
Talking about Steinberger just points out the fact that Gibson is only able to buy a company and then ruin it completely within the next minute. Remember the Tobias case too ?
And what about Heritage ? Will they sue them too, even if there has been a legal agreement at the time.
And for those wanting to see and hear a pathetic new Trump, here it is (again) :
