Let's split hair : a bolt is in fact a screw with a nut, but a screw is not a bolt as to be a bolt it would need a nut, but it can be a stud if it's screwed to a fixed point like a soldered nut or a threaded hole, for example.

It's exactly the same warning with Ernie Ball strings containing nickel... I think it's only a way to protect themselves against the typical American habit to sue everyone for nothing.

IIRC, there were two versions of the rapture, one with the full monty Barts and a gain trimmer pot and another one with just an NTBT without any gain adjustment.

That said, you can simply raise your pickups to get more gain.

Listen to yourself and if there's a bass that you love, but doesn't meet all your criteria's, it's certainly the one you were looking for, without knowing it...

Excellent bass too, but beware that it's the MTD Kingston AG5, so not the American model that is way higher priced. 😉

And don't forget the extraordinary Yamaha TRB-5P series, even if they are a bit more weighty (except 35 inches scale, but why do you want it ?), but definitely the best real PJ fiver. Way far better than a BB2025X.

Sivcak is also worth mentioning with their TB series as it ticks all the boxes (except 35 inches scale, but why do you want it ?) and are excellent very lightweight instruments.

The scale is not 34 inches on Kramer aluminium necks basses, but 33 3/4". On The Duke, it's even smaller at 30 1/2".

And it's ebonol, not ebanol, to be really precise, the same material as bowling balls.

But I'd like to know what is a German carved wood ?!?

I sold all my Kramer's last year and the year before.
