Can’t you just link to the tab ? Then (with my legal head on) you are not publishing it yourself 

caveat unless the tab tab is your own work of course

i subscribe to Songsterr, but although there are 49 votes for it, no one has obliged, there is a guy on youtube  with the Santana bass cover, but no tabs. so, its a maybe legal no-no for this site, so i need an individual to sort me, at least we got to the bottom of it, thanks guys.

Pop the question on here and I'm sure someone can make you one to email you. Tbh the legal problem would only be if we had a separate section with hundreds of tabs in (which we thought about having) and even then I don't think we'd be particularly at risk, but we decided it wasn't worth it (it would only take one person to sue us for the whole thing to go bust!)
