1. "The guitar was purchased new by my brother, I bought it from him at about five years old" 5 years old is young to be buying guitars like that int it?
2.
BB, try Paul Dunn. He's fully conversant in all the rock school stuff and has recently taken over from me at Ashfield School (now I'm exclusively teaching in North East Lincs) as the resident guitar/bass teacher. He also only lives around the corner from you in Top Valley. 07802 860542. In fact you probably know him as Paul from the Beer Monsters/The PHD. Rich.
Is he still doing them ive emailed him from his website and no replies?

6. Hey that was good "my little song", very clever lyrics but they fell into the mix around 2.09 and then it sounded like you had run out of lyrics, shame I was looking forward to more! Not fussed on the other 2, but a good sound all the same well done!
7. All that green makes you proud to be british dont it! Now wheres my camera!
8. I remeber some article I think in bass player where they dropped a head unit out of a block of flats on landing the unit still worked apart from a loose pcb board, in my opinion Peavey make some of the most robust gear knocking around so I think the robustness (if thats a word) is there to be seen! On the upshot of price its a buyers market at the mo and some of the gear can be picked up at bargain prices compared to rrp. On the board I think gear goes in trends there seemed to be a trend for mark bass - ashdown etc but then everyone wants the next best thing whatever that maybe so its then up for sale at a bargain price all being well! I never hear much difference in a shop as they all sound similar at "shop volume" but to +1 the saying if you like it get it, I love mine it does what it says on the tin! Eddy
9. Just to carry on from thunderheads post, ive got the newer peavey made stuff and have not had a blip so far, although some people dont like the tone it means you can get used trace stuff real cheap! I think there a loads of tones you can get from this set up and I guess its made by peavey so it cant be all bad! can it? So give it a whirl its as cheap as chips Eddy

15. Hi folks As you can see from my avatar im into the green now I know its a bit anal but I want to get one of the above tuners in black, do you think it uses red led's or just a red plastic cover? so could I paint the led's/plastic green or access behind the cover to altar the colour with nail varnish etc to give it that green glow? Thought it would look cool! Thanks for any thoughts Ed
16.
What are they smoking down under to come up with this http://cgi.ebay.com/1960-Burns-Artist-Bass...1QQcmdZViewItem
Is it just me but you are trying to sell a £58,000 bass and you put 2 half blurred photos! You would have thought some effort was required

18. +1 on the heavy stuff I move mine once a week with someone, about max 40yds takes approx 15 seconds, suits me! and sounds good!
19. Hi as above really my perfect condition/working silver rack tuner, 2 trade 4 your black one just for cosmetic reasons! anal I know!
20. The way I understand it and I stand to be corrected is ,the bloke from trace left with his partner and started ashdown, gibson brought trace, trace dissapeared till peavey brought it the blokes at ashdown split up one went back to work for peavey and relaunch the trace brand, nor exactly wikipedia but the best I can do lol, so it should have some good pedigree and even with peavey owning it should not be sniffed at! But ive only been playing 16 months so perhaps im not the best person to judge but it sounds good to me hence why ive upgraded to the ah1000-12.
21. Many thanks, yes its as new really, they dont seem very popular at the moment for some reason, maybe its the Trace purists, but there again Ashdown was not very popular a few months ago and now look everyone loves em lol Thanks Eddy
