Although I am a learner I have a Yamaha BB414 and replaced the bridge with a Babicz Fc bridge perfect fit. My friend has played it and says its superb.

Thanks Rockfordstone loaded Reaper last night. Now I have got to learn how to use it. I have also loaded Studio One free to compare.

Thanks or your replies gents. Paul I am going to try reaper as you suggest, but I am also going to try Studio one free as Davefry suggests and then choose which to keep. My keyboard is a Yamaha psr s750 and has midi in midi out also connects to computer by usb cable. I have been lurking on the recording forum decided to have a bash. Purchased a used Yamaha Audiogram6 I have the disc but the licence has already been registered. My aim is to use my Yamaha keyboard to provide all the sounds. My problem do I pay for a new key code for Cubase LI4 or go for another budget software I would be grateful for any advice. Went to see the Vesbim Floyd tribute band at Middleton Mancherter couple of weeks ago, Fantastic night. Only problem two boozed up ragbags competing with the artist for my ear. I cannot understand them paying £18 for the show and yapping about shopping.Needless to say they got a mouthful off me in the interval.

The body is not Mahogany it's Maple.

My new to me bass love with her Babicz bling babicz bridge.

Bought a Babicz bridge off David totally as new and very well rapped. Quick and easy. Recommended.

Truckstop can you remember if the bridge was the same? Bigthumb I think Mahogany but not sure.

I have searched the net but info is hard to find.. Would that be original bridge? Anyone used them in their day. Maybe get an idea of value etc. A pro bass player tried it out yesterday, said it had fantastic tone and played really well and definitely a keeper. Being new to the forum just thought it might be interesting post. thanks for reply.
