1. Jan is a really nice guy, with good communication over the p.m. when buying my Dr Bass cab. Should work out really well with his minimark

    Highly recommended Basschat'er

Also, checkout his band 'lonesome cowboys from hell'

    Cheers

    Stu

  2.
Good lord, thats a bargain. These cabs have a great reputation and its a superb price
Thanks Clarky - still no takers though :)

  3.
Any ideas what 15 inch driver it has?
Not sure which driver it has. It will be the standard neo one used, and not the Beyma. If you are seriously interested I could open the cab to find out.

  4. Feel free to ping me a PM with any reasonable offers

Looking at getting some decent small monitors (<25cm high) and could accept trade along these lines - Genelec 6010's would be great :)

Not really looking for other bass-related trades, thanks

  5.
4 Ohms and you'd have had a buyer but I already have an 8 Ohm 4x10 and Barefaced Compact. Shame, it would have been nice to get an extra couple of hundred watts out of my Shuttlemax 12.0!
Thanks fella - and 'snap!' I have a 12.0 and Compact as well. Tempted to keep the Dr Bass but not gigging at the moment and could use the cash

  6. GAS has prompted me to decide to sell my Dr Bass 1580 cab (pic and specs below)

Great cab with 15" and 8" speakers and a tweeter, with adjustable mids and tweeter via dials on the side of the cab to get a range of sounds from the deep warm bass sound to a more mid-range and zing (I opt for the former rather than the latter, but then I'm not a slapper or a rock god )

It has a really tough coating which makes it really easy to look after - as a result it's in excellent condition and looks new.

    450 watts RMS Neo
    1x15, 8" mid w/horn
3-way X-over w/ mid and HF level control
    40HZ to 20kHZ
    102 dB 1W1M
    8 ohms
    24.25"h x 20.75"w x 17.5"d
    52 lbs. Neodymium

Now reduced to £250 collected (Surrey or near Oxford), or postage at buyers expense.

    Cheers

  7. Great value multi-effects unit in very good condition.

Probably the cheapest way of getting great synth sounds, plus range of other numerous effects. Comes with non-original power supply and original box.

Priced at £100 including UK postage. Alternatively I'll knock a bit off the price for collection from near Guildford.

    Cheers

Just to say, I did almost a whole album with one of these; if anyone wants to know what you can do with it, try

    Thanks - a uniquely versatile pedal :)

  9. Could try a Dr Bass 1580 (15", 8" and tweeter) which comes with variable level controls. You can get any combination of deep bass, punch etc. with these settings

Apols for the plug but I have one for sale for £325 at the moment if you're interested just PM me. You're welcome to try it with no obligation.

    Cheers

  10. Another bump :)

Cash is king at the moment, but I've already dropped the price £100, so to be flexible I would be interested in the following trades:

    * A nice acoustic or electro-acoustic guitar
    * Nikon-fit lenses for my SLR camera (ideally primes, rather than zooms - a Nikon 35mm f2 AF-D would be great as would Nikon-fit Zeiss or Voigtlander MF)

    Thanks

  11. Recently bought this unique filter-based pedal in anticipation of a change in direction for our band (based around playing live over loops and beats). Well, to cut a long story short this isn't going to happen.

Great fun playing with this amazing pedal at home but may be willing to let this go for the £220 that I paid originally.

Link to Moog site and a fine review on this very site:

Just ping me a PM with any interest (no trades thanks)

    Thanks

  12.
About an hour, but not always, sometimes we rehearse about 15 minutes away.

If it was any further I'd be a bit grumpy about it.
same here - about an hour, but I try to arrange work on the same day with a client in the same area (I'm self-employed) so I have another reason to go.
