    My rather sexy looking black DeArmond Jet Star bass, is the final part of my clear out after deciding to stop playing bass.

    It's the two pick up model with set neck. Includes an unused Hiscox hard case (even still has the tag attached). Currently strung with Thomastik flatwounds but I can include a set of other strings if you wanted. Condition is good, plays really well with slim neck and 32" scale (I think), some screws are 'nicely aged' ;) (see pics) and the are some minor marks on the body (it looks a little like minor fingernail marks from a previous owner who was trying to play slap bass on it :rolleyes: but I cannot get them to show on a picture) but otherwise tip top. The output is not massive (passive bass) but this could be tweaked.

    I am looking for £[s]250[/s] [color=#ff0000]*now reduced to £200*[/color] including the case (no trades please) and am based near Guildford (Surrey) but occasionally venture into London. Would prefer collection, rather than postage, if possible.

    I have played short scale exclusively for a few years... until now (selling up all my bass gear).

    Found it a lot easier to play with my small-ish hands and there are more good quality short scales out there so that tone doesn't have to suffer.

    Please excuse the shameless plug for my ACG Tefano... :blush:

    Arturia Spark £200 - hybrid hardware/software drum machine. Hardly used as a result of work/family commitments. Purchased together with V Collection. This is included in sale as long as you can work out how to access it from my account (which I am happy to sign over to the successful bidder)

    Both amp and cab are super-lightweight, in tip-top condition and have mainly just been used in my house. Also included is the Mark Bass padded carry case.

    The cab was a custom order from Alex and covered in old-school 'salt & pepper' speaker cloth - to my eyes it looks absolutely beautiful :wub:

    I removed the Mark Bass sign from the front of the amp (i think it looks better without the orange logo) but it would be a doddle to put it back on. (included in sale)

    The sound is very full, round and bassy, but can be varied to get a range of useful tones using the VLE control. I have had a Mesa 400+ previously and think you can get a similar rich valve-y sound in a featherweight package. The amp also comes with the protective MB carry case, plus cables etc.
