  1. Following on from the "Page numbers invisibilised" question, this appears to have been fixed within the individual topic pages/threads but I'm still seeing (or rather, not seeing) the page numbers in the topic listing pages (screenshot). (Win 10, Chrome).

Very entertaining Band - Saw them as a support band in the 70s but can't remember who to... Wishbone / Be Bop Deluxe ??? Guitarist feigned an injury and they pulled somebody out of the audience to "dep" .. Needless to say he was a stooge and blistered his way thro the next song...... brought the house down..... anyway

    Lager than Life - Kiss

Supercharge were a great band. Albie Donnelly was an excellent frontman, too. Used to see them in London pubs such as The Golden Lion, The Greyhound, The Nashville Rooms.

    Anyway, moving on....

  3. Bought a J&D "p bass" from Richard @Big Rich which I was able to collect in person the same day (evening) he posted it on Basschat. Very pleased with the bass which Richard had nicely modified with a few upgrades. Also had a very pleasant chat about all things bass. Well, hey, it's what it says on the tin! ;)

Edit: Sorry, I should just mention my original feedback thread is actually here: :)

  4. During my own journeys playing Prog (first through the 70's, then through the 90's to the present day), Gentle Giant figured strongly on my radar (along with Egg, Hatfield & The North, National Health, etc.) and I had a few of their albums on vinyl. The Shulman brothers, along with the rest of the band, had this amazing multi-instrumental aspect which I loved and seeing them live at Hammy Odeon in the 70's, when the album "In A Glass House" came out, cemented that love for a good while longer. But there were always certain aspects of their material that didn't quite gel with me so I guess I eventually fell out of love with GG for a while, subsequently off-loading the vinyl. (Doh! 🙄). Well, all except In A Glass House, which I still have to this day. It's good to know that Ray and Derek Shulman are still going strong today.
