I will not be going anywhere near Brian, let alone in him!

I had a Sire V7 5 fretless and whilst it sounded great is was very heavy (from memory 4.8kgs?) and had dreadful neck dive. The latter is apparently solvable with lightweight tuning pegs but it was ultimately not for me. Others have reported theirs were lighter so per @TheGreek do try the actual one you might buy first.

Okay I will stop now...

These are singists:

Reduced to £350 plus delivery petrol costs. These are taking up too much space in my study.

My sound is akin to the noise of a wet hand spanking an empty Wellington boot
So like most slap then (IMHO)

Much akin to the sound of a slightly over inflated space hopper being dropped onto concrete from 10ft or so.

I have one of these. Not cheap but I am very happy with it.

Back in 2013 the company announced that their pickups would be re-branded from 'BassLines' to 'Seymour Duncan'.
A quick glance at t'Net and it's clear that product photos from the USA and Europe show 'Seymour Duncan', but all the big UK suppliers continue to show 'BassLines'.
I'm puzzled.
A case of Seeless Duncan then.

It's Yiddish though (originally), which does seem to rhyme with 'explain'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSVw0iye9Gw
Fair comment, I have always looked at is as being in German. Still annoyed but will now listen to the Yiddish versions only to stay calm.

Yeah, seems like an err... interesting location choice. Cant see it dragging many up from the south.
I will wait, as usual, to see who is going to be there. It is only worth the distance for me for a two day event and happy to book a hotel, but only if there is enough going on for me on both days. 5-6hrs by train for one day is not my thing. Perhaps it will get better attendance from our more northern based players to balance the potential no shows from the south.

Did anyone else see the FB announcement that the L in LBGS is now for Liverpool in 2022? I cannot find the article anymore but believe it will be in the “ACC” (whatever that is) on 23/24 Apr 22. It will share the premises with the Drum show.
I may have made this up as a result of too much chocolate egg, but I am sure I was not hallucinating.

Sorry, probably my fault. I said I was not American and did not think Fender were the greatest in the world.
To be fair I am a member there; specifically following the owners threads for my equipment. They are pretty good threads as people like Sheldon Dingwall, Jim Bergantino and Alex (Barefaced and a member here also) do contribute pretty constantly to their specific owners threads. Agedhorse (Mesa and a member here) also participates on the Mesa owners thread.

Totally depends on the bass colour for me. As long as I like the combo I do not care, but then I have also never owned a bass old / long enough for any “colour” to wear off either.
