1. SOLD Pictures here: https://imgur.com/a/jYIdx I bought this rig new 5 or 6 years ago, and it's been used for a handful of gigs and recording sessions, the rest of the time it has been sitting in a storage locker at a rehearsal studio. I've stopped playing live now, and don't have room at home to store it, hence the sale. The Ampeg head and cab are in really good nick, only a couple of very small dings in the tolex keep me from saying it is in mint condition. The Kustom cab has a few dings also, primarily from having the Ampeg rig sitting on top of it. Overall I would say they are in A+ cosmetic condition. As for functionality, everything works perfectly. The Ampeg head and cab together sound wonderful even at very low volume, which makes it a great recording setup. It's also possible to stick the head in a backpack and carry the Ampeg cab to gigs. With one cab plugged in, the head outputs 150W, with both cabs it is rated at 200W. The Kustom cab adds some boom to the Ampeg's growl, it's a really lovely tone. I am based in Lyne, which is in Surrey, about 5 mins from Virginia Water, 5-10 mins from Jct 12 of the M25 / Jct 2 of the M3. I have Jaguar and Stingray basses here if anyone want to try before they buy. Collection only please, and this is for sale not trade. Any questions, just let me know! Andy
2. Bump because the website glitched and this post disappeared!
3.
Looks great, if it's still here come pay day I may be in trouble. GLWTS
Thanks! Drop me a line at the end of the month if you feel your wages burning a hole in your pocket
4. This is a Squier Classic Vibe P-Bass that was reliced by Big Al, who some of you might know. It looks pretty beaten up (which was the whole idea!) but plays perfectly. The neck in particular is beautiful. The bass looks much less 'bright red' in the flesh. The finish has been flattened, and the actual colour is somewhere between red and a dark pink. The one imperfection - when I got the bass back from Big Al, the ageing process he uses must have weakened the bridge screws. When I strung it, all five of them snapped, and the bridge came flying off. I wasn't happy, as you would imagine. Anyway, it was properly repaired by removing the screw fragments, drilling larger cavities and gluing in pine dowel pieces. The bridge is rock solid, holds tune perfectly and the action / intonation are fine. You wouldn't know it had happened unless you removed the bridge for some reason. There is another patch of relicing under the sticker on the back of the bass, I just decided not to take the sticker off in case the bass doesn't sell, as I quite like it! Any questions, let me know. This plays great and looks great, if you like the road-worn look. I'd rather collection (I'm near Chertsey, in Surrey), but will courier for £20. Or I can meet you half way or in London etc. Cheers Andy
5. Are you in London by any chance? This sounds like it could be my perfect bass, but I'd like to have a play / listen before I pulled the trigger! Either way, good luck with the sale mate...!
6. Hi there, would you consider posting this out, or maybe meeting in central London by any chance?
7. Hi there. Does the sunburst one come with the original hard case by any chance? Cheers
8. Hi guys. I'm sorry, I didn't see these replies... Thought I would get an email notification and didn't check the ad. I've decided to keep the bass having spent a bit more time with it. Will withdraw the ad. Sorry again for any inconvenience caused...

SOLD.

Hi there, You mentioned earlier getting into Squires... Would this be of any interest in trade? It's a Classic Vibe 60s P with Fender licensed neck (and the original neck too). Drop me a line if it's worth a chat! http://basschat.co.uk/topic/234658-squier-60s-classic-vibe-p-bass-with-licensed-fender-neck-inc-original/ Cheers Andy
13. Having always played Jazz basses, I thought I would give the P Bass and flats combo a try, so I bought this Classic Vibe from Wunjo a couple of months ago. Despite the bass playing beautifully, I haven't bonded with the P Bass sound, so it's time to let her go. The bass is in perfect nick, only played at home and a few sessions at the practice rooms. The second neck is a Mighty Mite Fender licensed model (I bought this in case I gigged the bass, being a bit of a snob), which has a very thin aged nitro finish and a 60s Fender logo (under the nitro) on the headstock. This cost £100 new. In the interests of full disclosure, there are two superfluous holes on the back of the headstock, due to me answering the door to some Jehovah's Witnesses half way through the marking up phase and becoming distracted (true story). However, the extra holes are invisible when the tuners are fitted. Further full disclosure - On the Squier headstock, there is a small blemish in the lacquer under the string tree that I only noticed when I took it off. Again, invisible when the string tree is fitted. I fitted a small thumb rest between the neck and pickup, which is really handy. It was cleanly drilled and done properly. Comes fitted with a set of hardly used D'Addario Chromes (flats), and I have a gig bag for it. Will be mega wrapped and packed if posted. Would consider trading for a T40 (with some cash coming your way if required), something Sub / Stingray-y / or possibly one of those copies of the basses we aren't allowed to talk about on here, if it's a nice one. £15 extra, and I'll post to you... And just to be clear, the bass comes with both necks. Cheers Andy
