1. Hi, if the pending sale doesn’t go ahead then I’d take the head. I’m in Norwich so collection wouldn’t be a problem.
2. Weekend bump. This is going on eBay on Sunday with a 99p start price and a low reserve. Make me a silly offer before it goes on there!
3. Price: £200. No trades thank you. I've just bought another Jazz bass from a member on here, so this one is now surplus to requirements. I bought it new from PMT in Norwich about 18 months ago, primarily as a backup bass to take to gigs. I've played it very little, and as such, it's in good condition. There are a couple of minor blemishes I've tried to show in the pictures, which I can only assume are down to less-than-perfect finishing from the factory. It has a natural finish maple body, and maple neck with binding and block inlays. The neck is "C"-shaped, I'd say relatively slim, and comfortable to play. Pickups are Fender designed single coils which give you that recognisable Jazz bass sound. I've not given it much attention since I bought it, so it'd probably benefit from a decent setup. The action is a little higher than I'd like, and the strings are still the original ones. I would've thought some new strings and a setup (from someone slightly more capable than me) would brighten it up and make it lovely to play. As mentioned earlier, there are a couple of slightly poorly finished areas. The lacquer around the nut on the top of the neck appears slightly bubbled. Then at the other end of the neck where it meets the body, there are a couple of chipped bits of laquer, and the finish around those last couple of frets is a little rough. These were all present when I bought the bass, and didn't put me off as they are pretty minor. Other than that, it hasn't really had enough use to pick up any knocks, so the general finish is very good. All in all though, it's a decent bass for not much money, ideal as a backup or perhaps as a first foray into five string-ness. Here's a link to the bass on the Fender/Squier website - http://shop.fender.c...05.html#start=1 As you can see from the link, the RRP is £380, so hopefully I'm asking a reasonably sensible price. Anyone relatively local to Norwich is welcome to come round and try it out through my Genz Streamliner and Markbass 2x10 cabs. Alternatively, I'm happy to arrange a courier at the buyer's cost. I've used UPS via Interparcel in the past, so would get a quote from there unless you have another preference. I'll include a spare gig bag with the bass. I think that's everything, happy to answer any other questions, or provide more pics. Speaking of pics, here you go...

Bought Luke's Sire bass. It was an easy and quick transaction throughout. My only criticism is that he made it far too quick and easy for me to spend my money Cheers Luke, top bloke!
5. Also PM'd in case Basswookie hasn't already snapped it up...
6. It amazes me to see with the couple of Zoot basses for sale on here recently - MacDaddy's being one I'd noticed a couple of times - how far the asking price has come down with no sale forthcoming. They really are great basses, and I can't believe they've not been snapped up at such bargain prices. Mine has been with a tech for months having a couple of things sorted out. I'm looking forward to getting it back this week, it'll be almost like a new bass day again!
7. Thanks all for the interest, this has now found a new home. Thanks Sam, good to meet you, hope you enjoy it!
8. It's a great little cab kevvo! I've got someone coming to see it on Wednesday, but if it doesn't go then I'll update this thread and you can give it some consideration.
9. Hi Shonks, thanks for the message. I'm specifically after a Markbass 2x10 so I have a matching pair, thanks for the offer though! Molan, yes they are great little cabs. So much easier to lug around than the Ashdown ones I had before, can't beat being able to pick up both cabs at once and walking to the car without getting a back injury!
10. No worries, thanks for letting me know Telebass. So, this one's still up for grabs folks. I did have one message saying the price was a bit too close to the brand new price to make it viable, so if you think that's the case, try me with an offer!
11. Telebass and Rik, it would appear that the local sale has fallen through. So if you still wanted to discuss the logistics of a three way trade, I'm all ears...
12. Hey dudes, sorry for the delayed reply, not been online much over the weekend. I have someone coming over to look at the cab on Thursday, and as I'm sure you'll appreciate, a local sale would be easier for me so I don't have to arrange a courier etc. However, if that doesn't result in a sale, perhaps I can update you guys and the three way trade might be an option?
13. Always the way Telebass! I was initially after a second 102p, but bought this . Then as soon as it arrived there seemed to be a whole load of them turn up on here.
14. NOW SOLD Hello basschatters. I have a Markbass Traveler 121H, 1x12, 400 watt 8 ohm, lightweight speaker cabinet for sale. This is an Italian made one. I also have an Indonesian 2x10, but can't really tell much difference in terms of build quality to be honest. I'm the second owner. I've had it about a year, in which it's undertaken some gigging duties - 2 or 3 pub gigs or small weddings per month on average. It's been faultless throughout. The carpet covering is bobbling a bit on the top on one side, and there're also a slight crack in one of the corner protectors. See photos. As I'm sure you all know, these cabs are very lightweight for what they are, and super easy to lug about. This is an easy one hand carry and tips the scales at a svelte 17kg. The reason for selling is that I'd like to get another Traveler 102p 2x10 so I have a matching pair. So that's the only trade I'm really after, thanks. Ideally I'd like any potential buyer to come and try it out, and collect. I have tea and coffee, and could probably even stretch to biscuits if given sufficient notice. My neighbours are either completely deaf or very forgiving, so you'd be able to give it some welly on the test drive. The limiting factor tends to be that the glass in my windows starts to rattle over a certain volume. I have a Genz Streamliner 900, or feel free to bring your own amp. Just be aware that they are Speakon connectors on the back of these and I only have Speakon-Speakon leads, no Speakon-Jack. I'm in Norwich, and I'm fully aware that Norwich is not near anywhere. So if collection is not an option, I can arrange packaging and UPS delivery for an extra £20. Looking for £275, but open to sensible offers! As mentioned above, the only trade I'm really looking for is for another Traveler 102p 8 ohm cab. 15.
Thanks for doing that. Are you happy with the cab? I know some people complain about the tweeters being hissy in these.
I haven't gigged it yet, only rehearsed with it so far. Gigging tomorrow night though, so we will see.... The tweeter is quite hissy, yes. But as yorks5 says, there is an attenuator, so I imagine I'll be giving it a tweak tomorrow night if the hiss is really noticeable. All in all so far though, I'm really liking the sound of the cab, from the limited rehearsal and home playing time it's had so far. And of course the weight and size of it is a bonus!
16. I bought a new one from Thomann a couple of weeks ago. It does seem very light, but seeing this thread inspired me to get the luggage scales out - according to them it's not even 15kg, was showing just under 14kg. Maybe mine's made of cardboard or something...
17. Just sold my Hohner B2A to Gary, great communication throughout, and a perfectly easy transaction all in all. Cheers mate!
18. One more bump before eBay - make me an offer to save me putting it on there!

20. Always been tempted by these, looks like a hell of a lot of bass for the money. It's a good job I don't have the spare cash, as you're only down the road!
