4.
When I get a new bass I'd say it takes from 2 days to a week to get it set up 'just so' & even then nothing is final. It can/does take some time for the whole to stabilize to the enviroment it's in, then as soon as you change strings, adjust truss rod etc. it need more time to settle. That to me is where the playability comes from, getting any bass 'set up' to play as well as it possibly can.
+1 on the above
 5. Sorry it didnt work out for you Paul. Paul is a real nice guy to deal with so anyone interested in this will not have any concerns.

 10. This bass is still available. £850.00 plus postage. These retail at $1200.00 plus whatever tax and duty you need to pay on top for the UK. Remember only 30 of these have been made so grab a piece of Lakland history.
 11.
Does that mean you've send it of to Florida or do you still have it? It's a nice looking bass and I would surely be interested. I'm from Denmark by the way.
Sorry no i was in Florida. The bass is still available if you are still interested. Sorry for the late reply. Dave
 12. Thanks for all the comments guys. I agree with what has been said about the rosewood board that was a big issue for me as wether to buy it or not as it wasnt period correct. But The finish is stunning a nice subtle checking to the paint work and it is also very light. As far as I know it was a one of commission for Bass Club in Chicago who very kindly shipped it to my hotel in Florida. I have just had it set up and the frets dressed and it plays and sounds awesome.
