    Ah I see. Yeah those are the ones I can ring out nicely, it's more harder to get ones like around the third fret etc. I'm studying portrait of Tracy currently and some of those I just can't get to ring out. I'm plucking quite hard with my right hand but fretting softly..

    How can I get my harmonics to ring out better? Would lower action help? I'm plucking by the bridge but on some of the harder frets I just can't get them singing.. Any advice greatly appreciated

    Not strictly about effects but more the pedalboard. I'm looking for a nice sturdy board that has a power supply built in. Must be able to hold 8 or more pedals. Anybody able to point me in the right direction?

    I'm not overly sure how compression works. Is it like cutting out certain frequencies to boost a more pure signal? I've been advised by a few people a compressor would be great for my tone but I have no idea about them. Any tips on what they're used for and which one you'd recommend?

    Ive got myself a mex jazz which I love however I feel like the pickups are letting me down. I was looking at the Aguilar 70's style replacements but was just wondering if anyone could recommend some others they have used and really liked? Cheers guys Jack
