  1. On my small board I use a Plethora X3 for modulation/octave/tuner with a Two Notes Revolt for EQ and OD, and an Ampeg Opto Comp. Appreciate this is not a true multi-fx solution, but the hybrid of 3-channel tube pre and multi-fx means lots of flexibility with minimal menu scrolling and more stomping. I don't get along with the Hypergravity on the Plethora, hence the separate comp; if you did then that's just two pedals. Both the Revolt and Plethora come with their respective power supplies. You also have aux in, phones and DI out on the Revolt.

  2. I use one of these and I think they're outstanding. Laney should have a huge following. The Nexus amps were great (I owned an SLS for a while but changed up following an obsession with 'lighter is better' 🙄), the RBs are great (I have an RB3 at home) and now the new effects (got a Blackheath on my big board too) are killing it. And all of these at sensible price points. Props to Laney - great gear!

  3. A brilliant tool this - have used one for years for no-amp gigs, including a recent Turkey trip where gear was hired in so I could just confidently bring this (and just in hand luggage). Highly recommended!

  4. I'm looking at a new smoothing and beefing comp for my big board. It won't need to double as a hard limiter (a Keeley is doing that job) but rather be always on at a low ratio.

Has anyone got experience ABing the Empress Bass with the new Alma Comp? I'm currently leaning towards the Lusithand. Less concerned with metering than sound and feel.

    Any opinions appreciated!

  5. EHX Bass Clone, in excellent condition with original box and velcro on base. IMO this is the king of 'affordable' bass chorus pedals; it just sounds really good and the crossover and bass and treble controls are great touches. This has been bumped off my big board by a Jam Waterfall Bass, partly due to the latter's vibe side. The EHX isn't without compromise - it's not totally quiet in operation, but perhaps that's nitpicking by a chorus nerd...

£55, posted First Class or we can knock a fiver off if you're collecting from M27.

    Thanks for looking!
