1. I got a solderless p bass loom and great quality black knobs from John quite recently. Communications, postage and packaging were excellent and the instructions and screwdriver much appreciated! Cheers, Tobie
2. Norris bought a Yamaha fiver from me recently and the transaction couldn't have been more straightforward. Cheers, Tobie
3. Yeah, I noticed - not ideal, but not the end of the world for me. It's a P neck I'm after.
4. Cheers guys - sounds like a winner.
5. Cheers bonzodog. Looking forward to hearing about these...
6. Has anyone used one of these? Opinions?
7. Has anyone bought a neck from Northwest Guitars? If so, any good? And how's the service? Cheers, Tobie

9. Cheers Grangur. I'd rather not have to enlarge them if it's avoidable. Besides, the Hipshots seem to have a 14m diameter. Are there none that will drop in? I thought 18mm was pretty standard, but could be off the mark.
10. No passive Dimension owners out there?
11. These are the best rounds I have used. I will certainly stick with them. Tobie
12. I'm looking for some really lightweight tuners (black, elephant-ear) for a project. The headstock holes are 18mm and I'm having trouble finding some that will fit. Any ideas anyone? Cheers, Tobie
13. Thanks for the link Grangur - the Streamer sounds excellent. It would be great to hear a Corvette AB'd with a Jazz like this and also to hear how the 32'' fiver sounds, particularly its B string. I'll have a trawl of the web and post up anything interesting. Tobie
14. I'd really like a medium scale fiver. I've owned a German Warwick in the past and it wasn't my favourite, but was well put together. However the neck was not terribly stable and I'd be concerned about that on an instrument where stiffness was particularly important. That's not to knock Warwick mind. Personally, I'd be inclined to talk to Adrian at Maruszczyk. For not much more money you'd have a great deal more choice. Tobie
15. I'd be interested to hear people's opinions on the passive Dimension models (Modern Player and MIM Standard). They're hard to track down to try out. I've seen the specs, would just like to hear opinions from those who've owned and played. Cheers, Tobie
16. I can't recommend the film, but I'm really enjoying this tasteful bass playing. Just the right amount of flourish for me, whilst still being musical throughout and understated where necessary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1yMBT_o58E
17. Great bass at an amazing price. A bike shop will likely be more than happy to give you a bike box that you can cut down for shipping. Good luck with the sale. Tobie
18. It's not my old one, but looks great nevertheless. Enjoy!
19. Did you get this from DaytonaRik? Looks like it could be my old bass. Cheers, Tobie
