That's a nice looking bass mate, congrats :-)
I love my 'cheapie' RBX but I have an undercurrent of gas for an old bb.
My first bass was an RBX170, and I've always had a soft spot for Yammies. Never played a bad one. -
Lovely stuff! Congrats. Look forward to hearing all about it once it's arrived.

Any mod plans? I'd bang a J bridge pickup in there if it was mine. Still a great score as it is though. Well played!
EDIT: if you felt adventurous, there's probably enough room there for a 'Ray pup...

Thanks! I'm loving it stock at the moment, but I might update the hardware with something a bit more substantial - maybe go all black. Other than that I think I'm going to keep it as is! -
Slightly better pic of the green machine. Still no dice with the machine heads.

Are they adjustable? Most new Yamahas are, just tweak with an allen key
Aha. I'll give that a go in the morning! -

Looks nice

Thanks! Annoyingly the clover leaf on the D and G machine heads have started to rattle and come loose after a bit of playing. Think I might need to get a vice on them or something to squeeze the surround back into place. Currently have a pick wedged in to stop the movement. -
Here it is! The lighting in the room is pretty terrible, so the green looks lighter than it actually is. I'll take some more tomorrow!

Denmark Street is dangerous.
I've been thinking about picking up a new bass for a little while, but couldn't decide what to go for - until I walked into Wunjo this afternoon.
I am now the owner of what the guys had christened the Taiwanasaurus, which turns out to be a Yamaha Attitude Plus, in Seafoam Green.
Great condition, lovely maple neck, slightly wooly sounding (easily fixed with some new strings) with a padded gig bag chucked in all for the princely sum of £115!
Pics will follow once I get it home! In the meantime if you know anything about these basses (as I mentioned, I've only just figured out what it is!) it would be great to hear! -
+1 for Mark Hoppus. The track that always stands out for me is Online Songs. His tone during the intro is incredible, I have never been able to replicate the 'bounce' that it has in all my years of playing.

Expensive! RRP of £750ish is enough to put me off straight away. I'd rather save the extra few hundred and grab an SVT.

Here's the US collection for the SR range...I need to move the States

and here's the UK :/
http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/eb_sub_series15.php?series_id=51&area_id=3&year=2015&cat_id=2
I'm really hoping the SR1400E in the blue comes to the UK. I'd sell my current 3 basses for one of those.
Oh man, no SR650 in the UK? I had basically sold myself one in the last 24hrs. -

*gulp* so much for being happy with what I've got! -
The Talman looks awesome!!!

Think I'm gassing for a Lull T Bird.
Trip to Marks is on the cards for next month.
Likewise. Although it would be much quicker to sate my GAS by buying an Epi and spraying it green!

Well, get it bought then

What's funny? I don't see anyone else laughing -
Adding fuel to the fire, Thomann have the new 'Arry listed at £850
-
Correct. I own a Bass VI and EADG are tuned at the same octave as a regular bass, Be are tuned at the octave below the equivalent strings on an electric guitar.
If you're picking one up you should get a set of the La Bella Bass VI strings on order straight away (cost me about £15 all in delivered from the States) they are so much better than the crappy stock strings Fender supply. -

I'm disappointed that there's nothing in my favourite colours (greens and blues with mample fingerboards), but pleased too 'cause it means I don't have GAS.
Please Fender, a Mex or Squire Jag (with twin HBs) in Surf Green with a maple fingerboard and white pick-guard. That would be an immediate sale.

I was thinking something similar - it's a shame that the Jaguar guitars and basses don't share the same colour palette. More surf green and sonic blue please! -
sh*t sh*t sh*t, an 'Arry in the proper colours. I'm doomed

So much for thinning the herd, huh? -

Quite taken by the Mexican Jag in Silver if I do say so. -
Pretty cool. Competition for the SUB Ray basses too.
-
Nice. I have a Rumble 40 and it's a great little amp. Lovely warm tone, and the 'vintage' setting is fat

OMG they're genuinely clueless!

I actually don't mind it >_> -
Leave it as is. Looks ace.

In the past I've fixed rattling clover leaves with a spot of superglue - might do the trick in this case. Lovely looking bass in any case - good score!

a bit of blu-tac worked on my BB415

Both more appealing options than new tuners or leaving a pick permanently wedged in!
