This is the same model though. Cracking bass. Big sound. Great finish.

My fingers often get amnesia in music shops.

Until recently I would've said a decent Precision, but I recently picked up a USA MusicMan SUB. I took it to a jam which ranged from punk through to funk through to mellow rock and I was able to find a tone for every track. Spot on.

It's clear enough for me! I think you're best off checking one out in a shop if you can, or if you're anywhere near SE London you're welcome to pop in and try mine.

I actually have the Rumble 40, and it is overkill for a bedroom amp - I never drive it past 8 o'clock on the master. That said, it's really compact and light so it doesn't take up loads of room, and it's nice to know I have a bit of headroom to play with if ever I need it.

I have more basses than I've had gigs in the last 2 years. Sometimes I wonder whether I should flog all but the two 'special' ones!

I have the very same Bass VI. I don't think I would ever use it in a band situation, but it's certainly fun to noodle on, and they look amazing with the white/tort blocks and binding.

Recently picked one of these up, albeit in less pristine condition than this, and it is truly excellent. Expect big Stingray tones and flawless construction. You can tell they were made in the same factory and it's pretty apparent why EB stopped making them.

I've bought from Martyn before too, and it was smooth as can be.
